Kairos Network Church

Kairos Network Church We are a church on a mission to share the good news that God’s kingdom is near, by loving God, building community and sharing Jesus.

We meet in homes, cafes and community centres across Harrogate. Kairos is a church in Harrogate. We don't have everything sussed out, and we may not look quite what you expect a church to be like. We are passionate about learning to be followers of Jesus who join in with his mission of love to the world. We meet at Westcliffe Hall, and in communities across Harrogate.

This Sunday is a scattered Sunday and some of our Kairos Communities will be meeting across the day.

The following two events will be at Westcliffe Hall, come and join us!

9am Communion - Simple worship and prayer with lots of space. There are refreshments after the service.

10:15am Messy Church - Stories, games, food, craft, fun and worship for all ages as we explore the Armour of God.

After the success of our Lent creative writing workshops we're going to have another go. Come along to get inspired by the Pentecost story and write, paint, knit, make... some that could contribute to our worship.

What a beautiful Friday in Harrogate! On Sunday we have 3 points to gather.

9am Communion - Simple prayer and worship in a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll be thinking more about calling and vocation.

5pm, Kairos AGM - We’ll be gathering to hear stories about our work together as a church. We’ll also be hearing an update on the Create Space project, aiming to make more room for prayer, creativity, training, hospitality and young people at Westcliffe Hall. We’ll start at 5pm, with tea, coffee and cake.

6:30pm, Worship and Prayer Evening - Finish the weekend with time to seek God, worship and pray. We’ve been using these times to learn how to go deeper with God together. This Sunday we’ll be practicing persistent prayer.

This Sunday we will be gathering at 9am and 11am at Westcliffe Hall.

9am Communion - simple worship with some space, in a warm friendly atmostphere.
Refreshments served after the Gathering.

11am Central Gathering - vibrant time of prayer, worship, learning and fun. With Sparks and Blaze - our groups for children and young people. Refreshments served from 10:45am.

Some of our Ripon area churches have been reaching out to children and families new to church with a new Messy Church offering, thanks in part to support from the Diocese of Leeds.

This coming Sunday is one of our Scattered Sundays. There's space for our Kairos Communities to gather. We'll also be running two thngs at Westcliffe Hall.

9am Communion - simple, friendly and reflective worship.
Messy Church - All Age Gathering round tables with food, craft, discussion, games, story and music.
