Netherton Islamic Trust The NIT-MASJID is dedicated to serving communities by offering spiritual solace through the teachings and practices of classical Sufi Islam.

NIT-MASJID was founded in 1999 by Allama Hafiz Anayat Ali the father of Imam Ijaz Shaami to meet the religious and spiritual needs of the local Muslim Community. The Trust aspires to transform hearts and minds through Da’wah an invitation to Islam within a framework of religious-spiritual principles including multifaith dialogue and upholding universal humanitarian values. It champions inclusivity

and equality of opportunity for all and is specifically committed to reaching those who struggle to access learning and educational opportunities. Through education, the Trust endeavors to build and strengthen ties, community engagement and promote partnerships with the diverse communities in mainstream British society

*📣 N.I.T Food Bank Update – Please Share!*

Our previous page was removed due to technical issues, but we’re back with a new official page and the same mission: helping our community with dignity.

*🔄 What’s changing?*
We’re moving to a collection-day system. Anyone who needs support can collect food items directly from the food bank.

*👥 Who can come?*
Everyone is welcome, regardless of race, religion, or background.

*📅 Collection & Donation Day:*
Every 3rd Sunday of the month
*Time:* 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

*🤝 On the day:*
Volunteers will be on-site to assist you.

*📦 Donations:*
Donations can be dropped off during the same time, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Please check the poster for accepted items.

*🔔 Reminders:*
We’ll send monthly reminders so no one misses out.

**Eid in the Park 2026**

We are truly delighted to share the joyous news of Wednesday’s successful ‘Eid in the Park’ event, organised by N.I.T-Masjid.

Wednesday was not just another event – it was a historic day. The community of Dudley and the surrounding areas came together to celebrate Eid Ul-Adha 2026 in the open air, surrounded by nature. It was an unforgettable experience that revived the Sunnah of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The event was filled with the aroma of delicious samosas and the sweetness of jalebis. The children, and let’s be honest, many adults too, were overjoyed with the free ice cream van.

While the food and festive atmosphere were highlights, the true success of the day was the spirit of community and unity that was palpable throughout. This was only possible because of the tireless efforts and dedication of our fantastic team of volunteers. A special thank you to each one of you for making the day run so smoothly.

By embracing this tradition of 'Eid in the Park’, we have deepened our connections as a community. As we reflect on the day, we are reminded of the strength and unity we share, which we will continue to nurture and build upon in the years to come.

Thank you all for being part of this special day. We look forward to your continued support and participation in future events.

Make every effort to fulfil the beautiful Sunnah of our beloved RasoolAllah ﷺ by joining us for *EID IN THE PARK.*

Let us come together as one community, revive this blessed Sunnah, and celebrate the day of Eid with unity, love, and brotherhood. Bring your children, encourage others to attend, and support this wonderful initiative by coming out in large numbers.

May Allah ﷻ unite our hearts, ♥️ strengthen our community, accept all our du‘as, and abundantly reward the tireless efforts of NIT Masjid and everyone involved in serving the community.
