It’ll be a busy one in Cowbridge Today! It’s the Annual Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival in town.

Our building is open from 1pm and you’re welcome to bring your food inside and into the shade if you’re in Cowbridge ☀️

It will be super busy today and we’re excited for our normal gathering from 4pm in the town hall. If you’re visiting for the food and drink festival, you’d be welcome to join us at any point during the day!

Grace and Truth.

When a church aims to grow by welcoming people to church who are brand new to faith, showing grace and truth is vital.

Only grace leads to people living in ways that are not in line with Gods will. This leaves people short of the good news of Jesus, and can lead to all sorts of trouble with people not living in the way that Bible encourages us to.

Only truth tells people off all the time without any kindness or understanding. It means people are afraid to share their struggles or even ask questions out of fear of being embarrassed.

Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance Event.

This is a topic that is super popular and one where teaching and a healthy understanding hasn’t always been available.

We believe that the Bible speaks of spiritual warfare being real, and that people experienced deliverance from evil all throughout the New Testament.

We also believe that many people today, including Christians who believe in Jesus, are not living in the freedom that Jesus promises. Understanding why that is, and more importantly, what to do, can be vital for a person.

On Saturday 25th April we are hosting an event with Pastor Matt Tricker, an expert on this topic who has an amazing testimony and vast experience on this topic, at Beacon Cowbridge.

We gathered at 6:30am with some other local churches to celebrate Easter Sunday Sunrise together.

Excited for our 4pm meeting at the town hall in Cowbridge. You are welcome!

The Garden tomb (last photos) is where it’s believe Jesus was buried. But it’s important to know that the tomb is empty. And it always will be.

Tomorrow it’s Good Friday. When we remember the death of Jesus on a cross.

We will be gathering at the beacon building for an evening of worship as we celebrate the Easter story together.

The Brutal Easter Story.

Often we see portrayals of the crucifixion as a clean, friendly image of Jesus on a cross. Whilst it’s understandable that we would see images like that everywhere, the reality of crucifixion and the flogging that went on before it was truly horrific.

In our latest podcast we talk about this horrendous moment in history. What Jesus went through was unimaginable. But He did it, and we believe he did it for all of us.
