A group for under 5s and their carers to sing, dance, play and listen to a story from the Bible!

13/10/2026

This week at Boppers we continued our series learning about Jesus’ wonderful miracles, and saw how Jesus made a deaf man hear again 👂 we then made headbands complete with stick on ears to take home to remember the story!

We also used our own ears to listen to God’s word, music and each other as we had a lovely time chatting and playing together 🗣️ 🎶

Boppers is on every Friday during term time, 10am at Balham Scout Hall. Come and join in the fun! 🤩

😣 ➡️ 😃 this week at Boppers we learnt about a wonderful miracle, a blind man regaining his sight 👁️ Liz taught us that even for those of us whose eyes tend to work well, Jesus can still help us to see better and open our eyes to a full life lived in Him. Amazing!

We also had great fun designing our own blind/seeing man, complete with changeable eyes 👀

If you’d like to see what Boppers is all about, why not come join us this Friday? 10am at Balham Scout Hall

Everybody LOVES pushing their babies around in these prams, we may need to invest in some more! 👶

This week Katie was telling us about another one of Jesus’ amazing miracles, healing a paralysed man after his friends lowered him into a crowded room through a hole in the roof! 🤯 We learnt that not only did Jesus completely heal him physically, but also had the power to forgive His sins and make Him right with God. And that He can do that for all of us too!

Come join us this Friday for more craft, songs, Bible stories and running around with dolly prams 🏃

Last Friday was all about 🥖 and 🐟 as we learnt about how Jesus fed 5,000 people (with some leftover!) from just one boy’s packed lunch. Candice taught us all about God’s incredible generosity in His gifts to us, and most importantly His abundant and limitless grace! 🙌

Every week we have a craft to help us remember that week’s Bible story 🎨 It might involve paint, glitter, glue, pipe cleaners…this week we had great fun sticking our loaves and fishes into paper envelopes ✉️

If you fancy exercising your crafty muscles, come and join us this Friday at 10am

We had a wonderful first Friday back at Boppers! 🎉 Everyone enjoyed learning about Jesus’ first miracle, turning water 💧 into w**e 🍷 Hannah showed us that this miracle was so much more than just a party trick - it was a sign of the new promise God was making with His people, to give us good gifts and take away our shame ✝️ How amazing!

We also had a lot of fun singing 🎵 catching up with friends after the summer break 🗣️ being reunited with our favourite toys 🧸 and eating delicious cake 🍰 (or breadsticks and raisins, depending on age!)

We’re at Balham Scout Hall every Friday during term time, from 10-11:30am. Why not come along and join us this Friday? 🤗

Too much singing and dancing....have to play lying down 😅😴

In our Bible truth time last week we heard more about famous King David. He was a great king!...but he didn't always get things right and did some truly awful things in his life 😬

However, he knew that God is merciful and would forgive him his wrongdoings if he turned back to him and said sorry. He asked God to wipe his messy heart clean ❤️

The great news is that we can do this, too! Jesus can wipe our messy hearts clean if we ask him to and trust that he can do it 🙌

We're looking at another king this Friday - join us to find out who! 👑
