This week at Altrincham URC

(apologies, but owing to an error on my part, this post has only just appeared on Wednesday!)

After a quiet time last week, with our usual weekday activities taking a half term break, things will be much livelier this week, with the start of our our Eco Festival, with activities taking place between Monday 1st and Sunday 7th June and a special concert on Saturday 13th June. Please see https://www.altrinchamurc.org.uk/latest-news/new-ecofest-june-2026/new-ecofest-june-2026 for details.

Our Open House Café reopens on Monday 1st June from 2 to 4pm with a special afternoon tea/garden party including a blessing for our new garden bench.

Our Baby & Toddler Groups are still taking a half term break, but will resume on Tuesday 9th June, and continue to meet every Tuesday and Thursday, 10-11.30am.

The AURC Art, Faith and Wellbeing Hub will be back in full swing on Tuesday 2nd June and Thursday 4th June with special events as part of the Eco Festival as well as regular favourites. Please see the AURC Hub page to learn more about what's on offer between 12 and 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays - there's an updated programme, which includes more of the sessions which have proved very popular since the Hub opened in January, plus some new additions which we think you'll like.

Our service at 10:45am on Sunday 7th June will be led by Revd Paul Brewerton, and will include Holy Communion. You'll be very welcome to join us, in person or online. Please see https://www.altrinchamurc.org.uk/latest-news/upcoming-services/ for the Zoom link.

Future Events

The Guild is now taking a summer break until meetings resume in September. However, there will be a Summer Lunch at Bramley Farm on Wednesday 15th July - further details to be confirmed. We'll tell you when the new Guild programme is available.

We'll be running Summer Holiday Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 weeks from Tuesday 4th August. More information soon!
