🕊️ Mercedes and Alberto, representing Équipes Notre-Dame at the Vatican

On May 21 and 22, Mercedes and Alberto, our International Responsible Couple, travelled to Rome to represent Équipes Notre-Dame at the Annual Meeting of Moderators of International Associations of the Faithful, Ecclesial Movements and New Communities, organised by the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life at the New Synod Hall in Vatican City. Around 200 participants — moderators and members of the governing bodies of 104 of the 115 international associations recognised by the Holy See — gathered to reflect on the theme "Serve, accompany, guide. Foundations and practice of governance in associations". SIR

The meeting included an audience with Pope Leo XIV, who reminded those present that ecclesial governance is a particular gift of the Holy Spirit and can never be used in the service of personal interests or worldly forms of prestige and power. The Holy Father also entrusted the moderators with a twofold and delicate task: on one hand, to safeguard and nurture the memory of a living heritage; on the other, to fulfil a "prophetic" role, attentive to pastoral urgencies in order to respond to the new challenges and the cultural, social and spiritual sensibilities of our time. These words speak directly to us as couples walking together in faith: our service within the Équipes is also a charism of the Spirit, called to grow in listening, co-responsibility and communion.

🌍✨ Preparing the next International Regional Teams Meeting

Our International Responsibles, Mercedes and Alberto, had the privilege of meeting in Rome with the Service Team that is working with great dedication on the organisation of the next International Regional Teams Meeting, which will take place in the Eternal City in January 2027.

A meeting full of enthusiasm, listening and communion, where the foundations are being laid for what will be a truly special moment for our great Equipes Notre-Dame family.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the Rome Service Team for the energy, generosity and commitment with which they are preparing this gathering. Your dedication is a gift to all of us! 🙏❤️

We now have the testimony, with texts and images, of Victoria and Dmytro Demedyuk, members of Teams of Our Lady of Ukraine, which they had the opportunity to deliver at the European Parliament on April 22nd. ✨ ÉQUIPES NOTRE-DAME AT THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT 🇪🇺

We are so excited to share this wonderful news with our entire Équipes family!

Viktoriia and Dmytro Demedyuk, a couple from Équipes Notre-Dame in Ukraine, will be speaking this week at a hearing in the European Parliament entitled: "Peace Actors in Ukraine: Families Paving the Way to Peace."

The event, organized by MEP General Christophe Gomart (EPP) together with the Federation of Catholic Family Associations in Europe (FAFCE) and L'Œuvre d'Orient, will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, in room Spinelli 3E2 in Brussels.

Dmytro and Viktoriia will represent the voice of Ukrainian families — and the voice of our movement — before European leaders, standing as witnesses of hope and peace in the midst of tremendous hardship.

Many of you will remember that this same couple gave virtual testimony at our last International Gathering of Équipes Notre-Dame in Turin. Their courage and faith touched our hearts then, and today their voice reaches even further.

🙏 What an incredible weekend!

From April 10–12, the Itaici Monastery in Indaiatuba, São Paulo, welcomed over 181 couples from all 9 Provinces across Brazil for the National Meeting for New Team Leaders (ENNR) of the Teams of Our Lady.

Three days filled with prayer, reflection, and meaningful work — all in community, all for His glory.
May God bless each couple on this new chapter of their journey as leaders. The path ahead is bright, and together, we walk it in faith. ✝️

✨ El P. Henri Caffarel, más cerca de los altares

El pasado 23 de marzo, el Papa León XIV reconoció las virtudes heroicas del P. Henri Caffarel, fundador de los Equipos de Nuestra Señora. Una noticia que nos llena de alegría y que ha sido recogida por ACI Prensa en una entrevista con nuestros responsables internacionales, Alberto Pérez Bueno y Mercedes Gómez-Ferrer Lozano.

En ella, Alberto y Mercedes recuerdan cómo todo comenzó con cuatro matrimonios que acudieron al P. Caffarel buscando vivir su fe en pareja, y cómo aquel camino iniciado en París en 1939 se ha extendido hoy a 92 países con más de 15.000 equipos.

El P. Caffarel estaba convencido de que el matrimonio es un camino hacia la santidad, y que las parejas están llamadas a ser santos a través del amor, la paciencia y la construcción conjunta de una vida.

🕊️ Wonderful news from the Vatican!

The Teams of Our Lady receive with great joy the announcement made just moments ago: Pope Leo XIV has authorized the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints to advance several individuals toward sainthood.

Among them, the Holy Father has recognized the heroic virtues of:
Servant of God Henri Caffarel — Diocesan priest, Founder of the Association "Teams of Our Lady" (Équipes Notre-Dame) and of the Secular Institute "Fraternity of Our Lady of the Resurrection", born on 30 July 1903 in Lyon, France, and who died on 18 September 1996 in Beauvais.

🙏 Let us unite in prayer for the future beatification of our beloved founder.

✨ A Day to Remember — Baltic Region Visit

Today, the International Responsible Team experienced the most beautiful and rewarding day of the entire week.

Overcoming the challenge of language barriers — thanks to technology that allowed us to communicate simultaneously in four languages — we shared a true moment of communion with families from the Teams of Lithuania and Latvia.

We had the wonderful opportunity to share formation, experiences, a meal, and the Eucharist, presided over by the Archbishop of Kaunas and Consiliary of the Baltic Region, His Excellency Mons. Kęstutis Kėvalas.

With extraordinary warmth, they honored us with the title of angels carrying the greatness and universality of the Movement to this beautiful corner of the world.

Our most heartfelt gratitude to all the équipiers who showed us such deep affection and made us feel part of one great family. 🙏

🇱🇹 A blessed day in Vilnius, Lithuania!

During today's visit to Lithuania, the International Responsible Team of the Teams of Our Lady had the privilege of being received by His Excellency Archbishop Gintaras Linas Grušas — Metropolitan Archbishop of Vilnius, — who warmly welcomed us and offered us time to share and present the international activity of the ENS.

Following our visit with the Archbishop, we were beautifully guided through a pilgrimage to the most significant sites of the city of Vilnius connected to Divine Mercy — walking in the footsteps of a spirituality that has touched the whole world.

It has been a day of deep communion with the Lithuanian Church. May Our Lady accompany and bless this local Church and all the Teams in Lithuania. 🙏
