INTRODUCTION
True leadership in the Kingdom of God is not first built on gifting, charisma, position, or influence — it is built on character. God is more concerned about who a leader is becoming than what a leader is doing.

Many people desire power, visibility, and success, but God first develops the inner life before releasing outward influence.

Jesus modeled perfect character, humility, obedience, love, purity, and integrity. Every disciple and leader must continually grow to reflect Christ. Godly character sustains ministry, preserves influence, and glorifies God.

WEEK 4: SESSION 3 — MEDITATING ON THE WORD

A. Biblical Meditation Means Reflection and Obedience
Joshua 1:8 teaches meditation that leads to obedience and success.

Biblical meditation includes:
☞ Thinking deeply on Scripture
☞ Repeating Scripture prayerfully
☞ Applying Scripture personally
☞ Allowing Scripture to shape actions

B. Meditation Produces Spiritual Stability
Psalm 1:1–3 compares a person rooted in God’s Word to a tree planted by rivers.

Benefits of meditation:
☞ Spiritual stability
☞ Fruitfulness
☞ Wisdom
☞ Strength during trials

A Christ-centered leader is built on God’s Word.
The Bible is not merely a book to read occasionally; it is the believer’s daily foundation for life, leadership, growth, and disciple-making.

As participants learn to study, meditate on, obey, and teach Scripture, they become spiritually mature leaders who can multiply disciples faithfully.
