Our recent commemoration of the EnditNow Emphasis Day was a meaningful time of learning, awareness, engagement, and collective commitment to ending all forms of abuse and violence and showing compassion to those affected.

Through the various activities, we were reminded that creating safer homes, churches, workplaces, and communities begins with each one of us. We must speak up, support survivors, promote respect, and take action whenever abuse occurs.

Let us continue to stand together and say NO to abuse, NO to violence, and YES to dignity, respect, and safety for all.

This Sabbath we join the global Adventist Women’s Ministries in the EnditNow emphasis day.

This year the focus is on Compassion. We will have a sermon during divine service and a seminar in the afternoon.

We all want to be loved, cared for and understood. But do we treat other people in this way?
