Today we celebrated Adventist Women's Ministry emphasis day with a lot of enthusiasm. This is a special day for women to lead out in church worship services, showcase their talents, and teach the congregation about the core mission and purposes of the Women’s Ministries department.

We know that drinking water is good for our health. But did you know that water is also used externally as a powerful treatment against disease?

The GISDAC Health Ministry has been running a series of seminars on holistic living based on the NEW START (Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, Trust in God) health principles.

Last Sunday we focused on Hydro- Therapy, a natural drug free way to promote healing. This practice typically uses hot and cold water to increase circulation, boost immunity and aid in recovery.

Following sister Ellen G White's recommendations, this past sabbath, we had our 'Small groups worship'. This is the second time we were doing this, and what a blessing its been. You are welcome to join us next time.

Small group worship in the Seventh-day Adventist church is meant to accomplish the following

Spiritual Nurture and Support: Groups provide a safe haven for members to share their life journeys, pray for each other, and receive support during personal struggles.

Edification and Discipleship: They allow for interactive Bible study. This environment helps members discover their spiritual gifts and learn how to exercise them in practical ministry.

Evangelism and Soul-Winning: Small groups are missional. They serve as a low-pressure setting to invite friends and neighbors to learn about Jesus and the Bible.

“The formation of small companies as a basis of Christian effort has been presented to me by One who cannot err. If there is a large number in the church, let the members be formed into small companies, to work not only for the church members, but for unbelievers”. EGW, Testimonies for the church , Vol 7.

As Seventh Day Adventists we encourage a holistic lifestyle focused on the total well being of the body, mind and spirit.

Led by the belief that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, we gather around the table for a healthy scrumptious meal after the main worship service every Sabbath.

This past sabbath was no different.

This Sabbath we join the Global Seventh Day Adventist Church in commemorating World Adventurer day. World Adventurer Day (or Global Adventurer Day), celebrated on the third Saturday of May, focuses on honoring the Seventh-day Adventist Church's ministry for children aged 4–9 years by fostering spiritual growth, community service, and family bonding. It highlights the "Adventurer" program, encouraging children to "shine for Jesus," develop faith, and engage in outdoor/skill-building activities.

The theme for tomorrow is Walking with Jesus.
