Harvest Evangelism in Spain: 116 Baptisms and a Message of Hope

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void" (Isaiah 55:11). Grounded in this biblical promise, dozens of individuals responded to the Christian call during the recent harvest evangelistic cqampaigns, demonstrating the ongoing impact of the gospel across Spain.

Throughout May and early June, congregations within the Spanish Advent Union (UAE) engaged in a dedicated period of mission and community outreach. These initiatives represented the culmination of months of preparatory prayer, spiritual outreach, and active involvement by church members aimed at sharing the message of salvation and hope.

On June 4, 2026, the Collonges Adventist University inaugurated a new office of the Global Mission Center. The purpose of this center is to support and coordinate the missionary initiatives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in secularized and post-Christian contexts across Europe.

The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of several Adventist Church leaders, highlighting the strategic importance of this new establishment. Among those attending were Pastor Barna Magyarosi, President of the Inter-European Division; Jean-Philippe Lehmann, Director of Collonges Adventist University; Pastor David Milard, President of the Franco-Belgian Union; Pastor Olivier Rigaud, President of the French-Speaking Switzerland and Ticino Conference; and Jonathan Contero, Associate Director of the Center for Secular and Post-Christian Mission.

On May 29 and 30, the Villa Aurora Adventist University Institute (IAU), located in Florence, held its closing ceremonies for the 2025–2026 academic year. The two days featured institutional reflections, celebrations of student achievements, and spiritual insights, all centered around the theme that guided the entire academic year: “Called to Go”. This motto served as an invitation to reflect on vocation and on proactive individual responses within society and the faith community.

As part of its ongoing commitment to regional development and social integration, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Romania has officially completed the disbursement of the two tranches of de minimis aid under the European Union-funded project "Step by step in social entrepreneurship" (SMIS Code: 312268). This financial milestone injects a total of 1,860,000 euros directly into newly established social economy structures, providing the capital necessary to operationalize approved business plans across rural communities in southeastern Romania.

Nestled within the Casentinese Forests, the tranquil atmosphere of the Casuccia Visani center in Poppi (Arezzo) was temporarily transformed by the arrival of over 60 motorcycles for a dedicated weekend event.

From May 29 to June 1, the venue hosted the first national rally of Adventist Motorcycle Ministry (AMM) Italy, centered around the theme "Journey as Destination."

A Shared Mission on the Road

AMM is an independent ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a global presence. The ministry integrates a passion for motorcycling and traveling with the Christian mission to share the Gospel globally. Members are identified internationally by a distinct uniform: a black vest adorned with official ministry patches.
