Hello everyone, we are from the Association Murugan Tempel Zürich!

The Sri Sivasubramaniar Temple in Adliswil is not just a place of worship, it is a piece of history, a home and a childhood memory for thousands of people in Switzerland.

Founded in 1994, the temple is one of the first and most important Hindu temples in Switzerland. It was established to provide Tamil families who came to Switzerland with a place for spirituality, culture and community. Over the decades, it has become a home for generations of children, young people and families.

Many of us grew up here. We remember our first temple visits with our parents, the festivals, prayers, music, dances and shared moments. This temple has connected people, preserved traditions and given our culture a voice in Switzerland.

But now the temple faces a difficult future.

As of October 31st, the temple must leave its current location. For many, this is a painful loss. A place full of memories, hope and community is in danger of disappearing.

To ensure this story doesn’t end, the temple urgently needs our support.

Together, we want to find a new location so that future generations also have a place where culture, religion, and community can continue to thrive. For this, we need financial assistance: for the move, new premises and the preservation of this important cultural center.
