As human beings we all have this innate sense for the need to belong. We look for this sense of belonging in relationships or in our families. We look for it in our status, in our achievements, in our careers or in our social groups. Sadly, far too often we are disappointed. You just wanted to belong but you were met with rejection. You just wanted to be loved but were left with a broken heart. Many of us have the scars to prove it, some bearing more scars than others.
There is hope. There is good news. There is a true place of belonging in the kingdom of God. Maybe you're not sure about God and are just checking things out. Maybe you don't believe just yet. Here's the good news - in God's kingdom, you belong even before you believe.
Join us this Sunday as we discover what belonging in God's Kingdom looks like and how knowing there IS somewhere you belong can transform your life!

Are you tired?

Not just physically tired, but weary deep within your soul?

Perhaps you're carrying a kind of exhaustion that sleep can't seem to fix. You go to bed drained, yet your mind refuses to slow down. Your nights are filled with tossing and turning, and you wake up already dreading the demands of another day.

We live in a world overflowing with sleep aids, wellness podcasts, stress-management techniques, medications, supplements, and endless advice on how to find balance. Yet despite all our efforts, so many people are living exhausted lives.

Burnout is on the rise. Anxiety has become a constant companion for many. Relationships are strained. Minds are overwhelmed. And even when the pressure eases for a moment, true rest often remains just out of reach.

This Sunday at Knox Church, we will explore one of the most powerful invitations in all of Scripture: God's invitation to enter His rest. Together, we'll discover how biblical rest impacts every area of life:

•Rest for the mind in the midst of anxiety and worry
• Rest for the soul from striving and carrying life's burdens alone• Rest that strengthens our relationships and renews our perspective
• Rest that enables us to live, work, and serve from a place of peace rather than pressure
• Rest that comes from trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ

If you've been feeling weary, overwhelmed, discouraged, or stretched beyond your limits, this message is for you. There is hope. There is peace. There is rest available in Christ.Join us this Sunday at Knox Church as we discover what it truly means to enter God's rest. Join us this Sunday at 10:30AM

This Sunday, we’re taking a look at the life of David as The Shepherd King. Before he ever wore a crown, David lived in the hidden places—overlooked, underestimated, and stuck tending sheep while everyone else seemed to be doing the important things. But what looked like limitation was actually preparation. Have you ever felt forgotten, stuck in an ordinary season, or questioned whether God could really use your life? Join us Sunday as we take a look at how God sees kings before anyone else sees the crown.

There are some realities in life that catch us off guard. We plan for the future, work hard to build healthy families, pursue purpose, and try to move forward faithfully, yet even in seasons where we are walking with God, we still encounter opposition. Temptation comes unexpectedly. Discouragement settles in. Fear whispers. Division finds its way into relationships. Doubt challenges conviction. Scripture never teaches us to be surprised by these moments. In fact, one of the clearest truths of the Christian life is this: if we are walking with Christ, we are also walking through a battlefield. We have a spiritual enemy who works to deceive, discourage, divide, and distract. The presence of spiritual conflict is not evidence that God has abandoned us, it is part of living faithfully in a broken world.

The encouraging news is that God never calls His people into a battle without giving them what they need to stand. The armour of God is not a survival kit for an uncertain outcome; it is provision from a victory Christ has already secured. Every piece of armour reveals something about how our enemy works and how God strengthens His people to prevail. But armour hanging in a locker does not protect a soldier on the battlefield. It must be put on daily. This Sunday, May 24, as we open Ephesians 6:10–18, we are going to discover what it means to get “Geared Up” not living fearful of spiritual opposition, not blindsided by life’s battles, but clothed in God’s strength and equipped to stand firm.
