We could of had a church prayer meeting in Harley’s hospital room tonight. We are pleased to report that his condition is stable and all tests have come back favourable. It looks like he will be discharged tomorrow. To God be the glory.

At Knox Church, one of our primary aims is to teach the practical ways of God so that we can experience more of His life in ours. Faith gives us confidence to trust God, and action gives that faith expression.

God often leads us through steps rather than leaps. He meets us in the middle of our relationships, circumstances, grief, questions, and prayers, teaching us to trust Him even when we cannot see the whole path ahead.

In this two part series, UNSTUCK, we will explore how God works through the ordinary and difficult places of our lives to move us forward. If you have ever felt stuck, uncertain, overwhelmed, or wondered where God is in the middle of your situation, this series will remind you that God may be doing more than you can see, and your next step may be closer than you think.

Plan to join us at 251 Duncan St, Wallaceburg, On starting at 10:30AM. You'll be glad you did.

Yesterday, in an intimate wedding service these two became one. Please help us congratulate Mr. Theo and Mrs. Bre Martin. On Wednesday they plan to leave for Western Canada, to work and live. We will miss them so much at Knox Church, but we pray God's blessing upon them as they seek to honour the Lord in all they do. Congratulations Theo and Bre!

What do a wooden staff, five smooth stones, a donkey’s jawbone, and five loaves and two fish have in common?

None of them looked particularly impressive. Yet God took ordinary things and used them to accomplish something extraordinary.

A staff became an instrument of deliverance. Five smooth stones became the weapon of a young shepherd facing a giant. A donkey’s jawbone became an unlikely instrument of victory. Five loaves and two fish became more than enough in the hands of Jesus.

Perhaps your story feels a little like those things.

You may wonder what God could possibly do with your past, your struggles, your failures, or even the ordinary moments of your life. But when we place what we have into the hands of God, He can use it in ways we never imagined. This is the power of testimony!

When we share what God has done in our lives, we are not simply telling a story about the past. We are multiplying the miracle of the new life God has brought to us. What God has done in one heart can become faith, hope and encouragement in another.

This morning at Knox Church, we are honoured to welcome Derek Sands as he shares his story of how God transformed his life.

You never know what God might use in your story to impact someone else's.

Come as you are. Bring a friend. Come expecting.

Because sometimes God takes what seems unlikely, ordinary or insignificant and uses it to do something extraordinary.

On the surface, it might seem as though Derek Sands is a self made man. But this Sunday at Knox Church, Derek will unpack a journey that took him from the depths of alcoholism to the brink of death, and ultimately toward freedom, restoration and new life.

Through a combination of supernatural encounters, faith building moments, unexpected expressions of love and, most importantly, Derek’s response to what God was doing, the Lord began lifting him out of what appeared to be a hopeless situation destined for sorrow and tragedy.

Derek’s story is a powerful reminder that no situation is beyond the reach of God’s grace. What may look hopeless to us is never hopeless to Him. Where there is bo***ge, God can bring freedom. Where there is brokenness, He can bring restoration. Where there seems to be no way forward, God can make a way.

This Sunday at 10:30 AM, join us at Knox Church for our first Testify Sunday and hear Derek share a powerful, bo***ge breaking testimony of God’s grace, mercy and transforming power.

Knox Church is blessed with a growing congregation made up of a beautiful cross section of people who have experienced the power, goodness and faithfulness of God in deeply personal ways.

That is why, moving forward, Knox will be inviting members of our own church family to share their stories as part of an ongoing feature called Testify. These stories will speak of transformation, deliverance, restoration, breakthrough and victory, all pointing back to the One who makes it possible.

This Sunday, August 16, 2026, we are excited to host our first of many Testify Sundays! Testify has three purposes.First, we want to bring glory to God for who He is and for all He has done. Every life story is ultimately a testimony to His goodness and grace. Second, we believe there is incredible hope and inspiration deposited in a story. Someone may be struggling to find solid ground, wondering if change is possible or questioning whether God is still at work. Your story might be the encouragement they need to keep believing. Third, Testify gives us an opportunity to know one another more deeply.

As our church family continues to grow, we want to celebrate not only where we are going, but also what God has done in the lives of the people He has brought together.

Your story matters. Your testimony matters. And what God has done in your life may be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

Bring a friend. Come expecting. Come ready to be inspired by the miracle working, life transforming power of Jesus!

What if the greatest barrier to the life you long for isn't what's happening around you, but what you've quietly accepted within you? Over time, disappointment, painful experiences, unhealthy patterns, fear, addiction, and broken relationships can slowly redefine what we believe is possible. We stop expecting freedom, settle for survival, and begin calling "normal" what was never meant to be.
The good news is that God doesn't settle, even when we do.

This Sunday at Knox Church, we'll explore the remarkable story of the Apostle Peter, a man who experienced both devastating failure and extraordinary restoration. From denying Jesus to becoming one of the most influential leaders of the early Church, Peter's life reminds us that our past does not have to determine our future. In 2 Peter 1:3–11, we'll discover how God's power and our intentional response work together to produce lasting breakthrough. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning after being away, or simply longing for real change, this message offers hope that breakthrough isn't reserved for a select few! It’s an invitation to everyone willing to take the next step.
