Hey Dunbar neighbourhood! We’re having a bbq this Sunday and you’re invited! 🍔 🌭🥤

Join us at 12 PM for burgers and hotdogs and lots of other yummy snacks and treats provided by our neighbourhood Dairy Queen! We’ll also have games for all ages and face painting and a bouncy castles 🏰 🎨

We know life can feel very busy and full in September so we’d love to offer you a break to come and enjoy an afternoon with us others in our neighbourhood!

We’ll save you a seat!

Our morning service is at 10:30 AM, you are also welcome to join us then too!

A fresh new update to DHBC!

We’re loving the new addition our front entrance to help better welcome all to our building. We look forward to seeing you this weekend, church!

Last night was our Summer Kids Club: Campfire Wonder 🔥

A night full of crafts, water games, and all the essential summer food groups: pizza and s’mores!

We also spent some time talking about wonder, and how it can help us see and know more of who God is. A beautiful sunset, a good friend, His Word, the world He has made, all of it can point us back to Him.

And ultimately, when we want to know what God is like, we look to Jesus. In Jesus, we see the clearest picture of our amazing God.

Let’s be praying for our kids, their families and our church: that we would discover and be changed by the wonder of Jesus.

What a fun time celebrating our amazing volunteers at our “Golfing the Galaxy” Teams Party 🚀⛳️

From bucket golf, parfait creations, and fun moments together, there were many laughs and great conversations and meaningful shout-outs to one another. It was such a gift to celebrate all God has done through this team this year.

We’re so thankful for every person who serves so faithfully, not just by filling a role, but by helping create a church where people are welcomed, cared for, discipled, and pointed toward Jesus. The impact of this team reaches far beyond Sundays and into the life of our church, neighbourhood, and city with the hope of the gospel.

To everyone who came, thanks for making it such a great day. And to those who couldn’t make it, you were celebrated too and deeply missed. We’re grateful we get to keep doing this ministry together!

Some days are full, some days are overwhelming, most days are a mix of both.

Our monthly Parent Drop-In is a simple space to come as you are, connect with other parents, and let your kids play while you catch your breath.

If you’re a parent in the neighbourhood, we’d love to have you join us.

And if you’re part of our church, think of a parent you could invite or share this with, someone who might need a space like this right now.
