Yorkminster Park Baptist Church Yorkminster Park is a community Baptist Church located in midtown Toronto, traditional Sunday worship Like you, we’re on a journey.

Along the way, we experience breathtaking views, gentle curves and unexpected roadblocks. Sometimes the effort to navigate wears us down. God doesn’t push all the hazards out of our way, He gives us comfort and strength and replenishment to keep us going. In community with other travelers, we discover the meaning and compassion of God’s love. Yorkminster Park cultivates community in a unique way.

Through preaching, music and traditional worship we nourish the spiritual growth of the congregation. Through our commitment to share our talents and passions, we embrace the neighbourhood outside our doors in creative and life-changing ways. We are proud of our building — a marvel crafted of stone, wood and glass, but we are not contained by it. As a relevant and dynamic family of God’s people, we cherish our diversity as an asset and a gift. Whether you are young or old, a lifelong believer or a new Christian, from a different culture or tradition, or if you have never been in a church before, you will find Yorkminster Park to be a welcoming and stimulating environment. Join your global Baptist family this July in Toronto for the Baptist World Alliance Annual Gathering at Tyndale University, July 6–10, 2026.

Centered around the theme “The Table of Christ: One Gospel, Many People,” this week will include worship, prayer, learning, fellowship, and inspiring speakers from around the world, including Leanne Friesen, Elijah Brown, and Raph Anzenberger.

Kirkland Adsett

Kirkland Adsett was born in Fergus Ontario. Formal music studies saw him attending Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree, respectively. In addition to choral conducting, organ-playing and composition, improvisation has always greatly interested Kirk. Master-classes and private studies in improvisation have offered opportunities to study with Olivier Latry, Naji Hakim, Madame Jacquet-Langlais (France) and Otto Krämer (Germany). Kirk's compositions are published exclusively with Cypress Choral Music. Kirk has served as Director of Music and Organist at Anglican/Episcopal parishes in Salem, NJ, Ottawa, ON, Vancouver BC, and more recently at St. Clement's Church in Toronto.

Dan Norman

Sought after for his musical sensitivity and versatility, Daniel Norman has been an active conductor, keyboardist and collaborative artist for over a decade. Mr. Norman performs regularly as an organ soloist and enjoys featuring works of varying time periods and dialects. Mr. Norman currently holds directorships with Church of the Redeemer and the Convent of St. John the Divine and is associate conductor with Pax Christi Chorale. His performance is sure to be a highlight. We look forward to welcoming you back!
