We are also looking for volunteers to help us raise some funds for the Tofield Ryley and Area Food Bank serving up the Canada Day Pancake breakfast at the Tofield Community Hall. It's a lot of fun and a great way to bump into those hard to find neighbours.

This Sunday we will be hearing from Juan Pablo and Carolina Noriega who are working to establish a hospital, school and church in a remote part of Guatemala. Our congregation has supported this mission with funds, medical equipment, quilts, supplies, prayers and labour.

This fall a team will be going down to continue this work. Join us this Sunday 10:30 am in Tofield, for an update on progress and next steps!

The message is from Hebrews 20:23-25 and title Provoking Love.

Holy Saturday is marked by silence and waiting. The day after Jesus was crucified, his disciples full of grief, confusion and doubts. They saw the miracles, heard the parables and even had them explained. Jesus was the messiah, but where is the victory? Where is the fight? Why did he not save himself? Have I been foolish? I gave up everything to follow him…but now what?

These are the same doubts we often experience as Christians. Looking back perhaps we cling to experiences, answered prayers, things we hold on to as proof that Jesus is with us. But today, someone we love is ill or suffering, our health is failing, or maybe we aren’t sure how we will pay the bills…and so we wonder, “Was it true? Does he really exist and care for me?”.

Today we sit together as believers, in the uncomfortable tension of our doubt and wait…

Join us tomorrow as we celebrate our confirmation of the truth of who Christ was when the tomb is open and the resurrection realized.

9am Breakfast!
10:30 Worship

Everyone welcome. 🙏🏿

Good Friday, what’s so good about it?
The day when God would defeat evil, and provide a way for people to be restored to Him. This is the day that the whole story of the Bible was pointing too.

In today’s video, walk through the events of Holy Week according to Luke’s gospel account.” Bible Project, Holy Week Plan
