Heavenly Father,
As a new school year begins, we lift up every child, every teacher, and every parent to You. Be especially close to those stepping into their very first year of school, and to those entering their very last year. Be with the children who are excited, the ones who are nervous, and those who may be wondering what this year will bring.
Lord, walk with them in the halls, ride with them on the bus, and be with them in the schoolyard. Help them remember that wherever they go, they never go alone. Give them courage to stand up for what is right, kindness toward others, and wisdom in the choices they make.
Bless the teachers with patience, strength, creativity, and compassion. Give them the ability to see beyond the classroom and recognize the needs of each child entrusted to them.
And Lord, give parents peace as they send their children off each morning. Help them trust You with the little ones they love so deeply.
For every first day, every last first day, every new friendship, every challenge, every lesson learned—go before them, walk beside them, and bring them safely home.
May this school year be filled with growth, joy, kindness, and moments where they see Your hand at work.
