As we approach Father’s Day this weekend, we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who reflect God’s love through their care, guidance, and presence. 💙

We also recognize that this day can feel different for many — marked by grief, absence, or difficult experiences. Wherever this day finds you, may you be reminded that we are all deeply loved by our perfect Heavenly Father, whose care for us never fails.

Today, we celebrate the love, encouragement, and faithfulness that point us toward him.

Ride, Forrest, Ride! 🏃🚴

That's exactly what some members of Dwayne's Team from Trinity Baptist Church in Sherwood Park, Alberta, are doing through Active in Mission - turning their passion for cycling into support for people facing hunger around the world.

Riding, walking, and running in memory of their friend Dwayne Gibbs, this team is aiming to raise $35,000 to help provide food, hope, and practical care where it's needed most.

A week later, we're still smiling about this one. ⚾💙

While cheering on the Blue Jays was fun, the best part was spending time together outside of the office, sharing conversations, laughter, and simply enjoying each other's company.

We’re grateful for moments like these that strengthen relationships and remind us of the gift of community.

Thailand - Paradise Children Center & Sustainability through Pig Farming Project

Pray for God’s protection, provision, and guidance over the Paradise Children Center and its sustainability initiatives. Following recent challenges caused by severe weather, pray that the project would continue to flourish and provide ongoing support for the children served through the centre. May staff and leaders be strengthened as they care for and invest in the lives of young people in their community.

This year’s theme, United amid Diversity, was a powerful reminder that God’s mission is bigger than our differences. 🌎

This past weekend, Joe Bridi represented CBM at the Annual General Assembly of the Union of French Baptist Churches of Canada. Reflecting on the gathering, Joe shared:

"It was very encouraging to hear how churches in French Canada are focused on strengthening their witness and on working together to accomplish the mission God has for them... Raphael Anzenberger stressed the importance of unity amid cultural, ministerial, theological, and forms of church diversity".

Joe also had the opportunity to lead a workshop on CBM’s global ministry and connect with leaders serving in Quebec and beyond. Please join us in praying for our French Union partners as they faithfully serve in challenging contexts and continue sharing the hope of Christ. 🙏

We thought you’d enjoy seeing a little of what some of our global staff have been up to during their time in Canada. 🇨🇦

Over the past few weeks, Suraj Komaravalli, Andre Sibomana, and Patty Nacho have been visiting churches, sharing stories from ministry around the world, and connecting with congregations and supporters along the way.

It’s been encouraging to see these meaningful moments of partnership, conversation, and connection as churches continue to learn more about what God is doing through global mission. Thank you to every church and community that has welcomed them so warmly!

The CBM World Cup was one for the books. ⚽🏆

What started as a fun staff competition quickly became a celebration of teamwork, laughter, community, and a little healthy rivalry along the way. From dramatic goals to unforgettable moments, this event reminded us how meaningful it is to simply gather, connect, and enjoy life together as a team.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from the sidelines, helped organize, and made the CBM World Cup such a success.

This International Day of Play, we celebrate the spaces where children can simply be children.

Through CBM’s Kids at Risk projects, partners around the world are creating safe and supportive environments for children and youth — from community programs in Lebanon supporting children impacted by crisis to initiatives in Bolivia helping families build healthier futures together.

Here in Canada, 1 in 4 households face food insecurity.

These aren’t distant numbers - they’re people in our communities, our neighbourhoods, even our churches.
