We pray for and uplift the loved ones of Linda Bone, who passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Victoria Hospital.
Visitors are welcomed to Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas St. E., London, 519-455-9343 on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., with Funeral Service commencing at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
LINDA BONE, (NEE WILLIAMS)
Beloved wife of the late Cyril Bone, devoted mother of James Bone (Karen) and Jerry Bone (Leah); doting grandmother of Kerry Duncan. Dear sister of Janet Williams (late Jack Nauta), Fred (Joyce) Williams and David (Cindy) Williams. Also survived by her brother-in-law Robert Bone (Kimmy Conner) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Elmer Williams.
Linda had many hobbies including archery in which she excelled. Linda also enjoyed canoe tripping and was active in the Sportsman’s Club encouraging women to get involved. She was a keen motorcyclist attending many motorcycle rallies. Her special hobbies included plants, birding, and butterfly conservancy. Linda volunteered for several years at the Men’s Mission making sandwiches. She was active in her church and very much enjoyed spending time with friends who will all miss her. Linda worked 35 years at UWO Science and Weldon Libraries in various positions of responsibility.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society directed to breast cancer research, or a charity of your choice.
