Thank you to in Waterton for donating shuttle services for our Camp Canyon Centre for Stewardship Grand Re-Opening, donating supplies for our hiking programs, and providing economical shuttle services for our summer hikes for Canyon Church Camp. We couldn't have offered these amazing opportunities in Waterton without your help and support!

Canyon Church Camp couldn't run without our wonderful Volunteer Resource Staff. Each week of camp, we need a Camp Medic, a Craft Leader, a Nature Leader, a Camp Parent, and a Camp Champlain. Over our six weeks of camp, many volunteers filled these roles, and sometimes more than 1! We know they love camp when they come back for multiple weeks! We couldn't offer the amazing camp experience without these tireless volunteers!

Our next Camp Canyon board meeting is on Monday, October 19th at 7:00pm on Zoom. We have many opportunities to grow our volunteer community! Reach out here or email [email protected] to receive the meeting link!

With the 2026 Camp Season behind us, we have many thank-yous to give out. It took a huge community to be able to have a successful return to camp, and we are grateful for everyone who helped to make that happen.
We were so blessed to have an amazing and energetic crew of counselling staff this year who made the camp experience fun and memorable for all! Thank you to our wonderful directors, assistant directors, counsellors, assistant counsellors, lifeguards, and counsellors in training. Not only did our campers gain lifelong experiences, so did our counselling staff! Thank you for the "Rise and Renew" season!

This Thanksgiving Monday, we are giving thanks for the incredible "Rise and Renew" 2026 season we had in our first return to camp since the 2017 Kenow Fire. Thank you to everyone who made it possible to return, and to all our amazing Camp Canyon Family who made memories with us this summer. ❤️

The Women's Retreat was a chilly affair and felt more like Autumn than the end of the summer season. Even with the brisk weather, amazing memories were made through connection, community, and creation.

🫣 I see some lost and found items! These were left at camp and are now safely in Lethbridge. Anyone wanting to claim items can email [email protected].

Someone didn't get the memo that camp is closed for the season. They still wanted to do some work around camp. There will always be more work next season Bear!
