Happy Mother’s Day 💐

He is risen! ✝️🌅

This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the hope, love, and new life found in Jesus. The stone is rolled away, the grave is empty, and His promise still stands—bringing light into every dark place and joy into every heart.

May this day remind us that no matter what we face, resurrection and renewal are always possible.

Happy Easter! 💛

It is finished.

On a quiet Good Friday,
the world once held its breath.

The sky grew heavy,
hope seemed distant,
and love… looked like loss.

Long ago, a cross stood on a hill—
and to many, it felt like the end.
Dreams buried, light fading,
a story unfinished.

And yet…

In the stillness of that sorrow,
God was writing something deeper
than human eyes could see.

A love that would not let go.
A mercy stronger than fear.
A promise whispered through the darkness:
*this is not the end.*

Like a seed beneath the soil,
like a tear that waters unseen hope,
what feels broken is not beyond healing.

What feels lost is not beyond redemption.

Good Friday reminds us—
in our own quiet struggles,
in our hidden hurts,
in the places we think are too far gone—

God is still at work.

Because even here…
especially here…

Sunday is coming.

One of the most striking details in the story of David and Goliath isn’t the size of the giant.

It’s what David chose not to take with him.

When David stepped forward, King Saul tried to prepare him the only way a king knew how—with armour.

A bronze helmet.
A coat of mail.
A sword meant for a seasoned soldier.

From the outside, it made perfect sense.
Battles are fought with armour.

But David took a few steps… and stopped.

“I cannot go in these,” he said.

So he took them off.

No sword.
No shield.
No armour that made him look like the warriors around him.

Just a sling and five smooth stones from a quiet stream.

The same sling he had used in lonely fields while watching sheep.
The same sling that had faced lions and bears when no one else was there.

What looked like weakness was actually preparation.

God had been shaping David in hidden places long before the battlefield ever appeared.

Years later, the apostle Paul would write something remarkable in Ephesians 6—that our true protection isn’t earthly armour at all, but the full armour of God:

The belt of truth.
The breastplate of righteousness.
The shield of faith.
The helmet of salvation.
And the sword of the Spirit.

David didn’t walk onto the battlefield wearing a king’s armour.

But he walked onto that field clothed in something far greater—faith in the living God.

And that made all the difference.

Because the battles we face are never won by the weight of what we carry on the outside…

but by the strength of the One who stands with us.
