🍂 Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

Thanksgiving is a wonderful reminder that even when life isn’t perfect, God is still good.

It’s easy to be thankful when life is going well, when prayers are answered the way we hoped, and when blessings are easy to recognize. But perhaps the deepest kind of gratitude comes when we learn to recognize God’s goodness even in the midst of life’s challenges.

Today, let’s be thankful not only for what God has given us, but for who He is — faithful in every season, present in every struggle, and generous with His grace.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” — 1 Chronicles 16:34

Our prayer this Thanksgiving is that we would all take a moment to look beyond our circumstances and recognize the countless ways God has been faithful.

Happy Thanksgiving! God is good — all the time. 🙏🍂

I Was Not Aware of It - Sermon - Pastor Marlee Page
Jacob woke at Bethel and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” This message reminds us that through the Spirit, God has already made His home in every believer. From Romans 8 and Psalm 139, we see that no place is without Him, and that we live in His house as beloved children, not guests. Instead of praying “God, show up,” we are invited to grow in attention, awareness and expectancy, noticing the presence already near.

Jesus promised His frightened disciples they would never be left alone. In John 14 and 16, He tells them the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, will come to live in them and stay forever. The Spirit is a person to know, and His presence is for our good. Many believers have grown familiar with the idea of the Holy Spirit while remaining strangers to His presence. This message invites us to come with curiosity and to pray one simple prayer this week: Holy Spirit, make me aware of Your presence.

🧡 Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today we set aside time to remember the children who never came home, and to honour the survivors and families who carry that story still.

Remembering is where reconciliation begins. As the prophet Micah reminds us, the Lord asks us "to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8).

We invite you to pause with us today. Wear orange, spend a quiet moment in prayer, or take time to listen to a survivor's story.

Moving Together - Sermon - Pastor Dave Page
In Ephesians 4:1-16, Paul urges believers to walk worthy of the calling they have received. That walk is relational: humility, gentleness, patience, and bearing with one another in love. Our unity is a gift we receive in Christ, the one Lord at the centre of His church. To each of us He gives grace and gifts that equip His people for works of service, just as William Carey and the early Baptist churches each brought something to one mission. The goal is maturity in Christ, a body that builds itself up in love as each part does its work.

Eyes That See - Sermon - Pastors Marlee & Dave Page
Two disciples walked the road to Emmaus with the risen Jesus beside them and never recognized Him. Their disappointment had narrowed their vision until a shared meal opened their eyes. Luke 24 reminds us that the presence of Jesus does not depend on our awareness of it. He still walks with us through grief, unanswered prayer and seasons when God feels hidden. Scripture teaches us to look again, and the Lord's Table shows us grace that was there all along. Ask Him for eyes that see, and trust that you never walk the road alone.

The Good Samaritan - Sermon - Pastor Dave Page
A lawyer asks Jesus where the line is: who exactly counts as my neighbour? Jesus answers with a story. A priest and a Levite see the wounded man and walk on. A Samaritan, the outsider, crosses the road and lets what he sees change what he does. Instead of naming who qualifies, Jesus asks which man became a neighbour. The Kingdom is often hidden in something ordinary, lying beside the road we are hurrying down. We can cross that road because Christ crossed it first for us. Go and do likewise.
