This year’s Vacation Bible School has been another great success! Throughout the week, our students came together to learn, grow, and fellowship with one another. The KW4Cs spent meaningful days learning more about Jesus, creating beautiful arts and crafts, enjoying outdoor activities, and building wonderful memories together.

On the concluding day of VBS 2026, teachers, parents, and students gathered to celebrate the children’s graduation. Songs of gratitude and heartfelt testimonies were lifted to the Lord as we reflected on the ways VBS has made an impact on the children. The students also proudly showcased their God-given talents through an energetic dance of praise. Bro. Kirk delivered the words of God reminding the parents and brethren alike about the opportunities we shouldn’t miss in raising up our children.

We give thanks to every family who joined us and to all the teachers and volunteers who generously gave their time, and care to make this event a success.

May we continue to be the light that guides our children to know God, grow in His Word, and serve Him faithfully.

It was a day well-spent rejoicing as we joined the whole church around world during the culmination of the 4th Watcher’s Month. It was a momentous moment celebrating 53 years of God’s goodness and faithfulness to the church. As we gathered in the spirit of worship, the blessings of the word of God touched the hearts of every believer through the message of Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol. We are truly blessed to be a part of God’s church, pursuing our ultimate goal of holiness and service to the Lord through the guidance and ways of His apostles.

Today marks the very first Sunday worship of our new pastor in Kelowna, Bro. Kirk Cruz.

With the topic, “Under God’s Management,” he emphasized that it is God who establishes leadership in the church. Pastors are but stewards who must prove faithful of the trust given by the good shepherd himself, our Lord Jesus Christ. Starting from the Apostle, all the way to the local leadership, it has always been God who is in control.

Last night, a special endorsement service was held marking the beginning of a new chapter for the locale church of Kelowna. Members around the Okanagan region gathered to gladly receive our new minister, Bro. Kirk Cruz. BC sub-coordinator, Pastor Miziel Zonio encouraged the brethren with the words of God as well as prayed for the induction of Bro. Kirk. With full of confidence of God’s providence and presence, we look forward in this new season of blessing and fruitful service for God’s glory!

God is on the move in the Okanagan Region!

The locale churches of Kelowna and Vernon hold a weekend of Spiritual Empowerment. The passionate spirit of the brethren to be equipped once again by the Holy Spirit couldn't be quenched, even amidst the ongoing wildfires around the Okanagan Valley.

On the first night, Pastor Miziel Rivera-Zonio, B.C Subdistrict Coordinator, exhorted the words of God, highlighting the the keys to achieve greatness in our service to the Lord.

During the second day, we are even more blessed to be visited by our very own, Canada District Coordinator, Presbyter Joseph Concepcion. He delivered a fitting sermon about taking advantage of the “Window of Opportunity. He reminded us of the uncertainty of life, despite the abundance of opportunities that could be missed. As we have been blessed God to be His children, we must utilize our time wisely to pursue His will and purpose for us.

It was a bittersweet Sunday as we worshiped with Sister Elaine as our minister for the last time. Brethren offered their heartfelt goodbyes, remembering every moment and memories we had with her.

Under her leadership, Kelowna locale has experienced growth and breakthroughs throughout the years of her ministry here. Through her tireless efforts and sacrifices, she has been instrumental in opening the locale church of Vernon as well as planting the work of God in different places around the Okanagan valley. She is a caring, devoted, passionate and loving minister who has been with us through every season of our lives. She is a shepherd after God’s own heart, tending to our spiritual needs with Christ-like compassion and understanding. She gives and loves selflessly for the well being of the church and the brethren. Kelowna locale is blessed and proud to have been led by Sister Elaine Medina.

Thank you for everything that you have invested in us and rest assured we will always remember you in our prayers. We love you and until we see you again.
