*** On Sunday, August 2. Reverend And David Prowse will lead a special service to commemorate Edith Cavell.***

There will be no United church services during the month of August.
Sunday fellowship will take place at Papa George’s at 10:45 each Sunday in August. All are welcome!

The Municipality of Jasper is hosting two workshops to explore possibilities for the redevelopment of the Anglican Church and United Church lands.

The workshops will look at how the lands have contributed to community life in Jasper, how they serve community needs now, and what may be possible in the future.

This work follows a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding between the Municipality, the Anglican Church and the United Church to explore opportunities for the site, which could include community space, offices, housing and a multi-faith worship space.

Thursday, June 18

Friday, June 19
9:00–11:30 AM
Quorum Room, 500 Robson Street

A ceremony will also take place on site on Thursday, June 18 at 2:00 PM.

The 58th Jasper United Church plant sale is over. Hunter Green Landscaping was happy to be able to assist. The plants, supplied by Hinton Canadian Tire, looked amazing. Once again, Scott and Shari Morash went above and beyond to help Jasper out! A huge shout out to the Municipality of Jasper for allowing us to safely store the plants in the arena, very much appreciated!
Location was the parking lot beside the Jasper Museum Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm,(or until the plants are gone) rain or shine!
A big THANK YOU to the volunteers, the Jasper Museum, Red Cross and to the people of Jasper who made this possible, keeping the tradition alive as we towards a Jasper that once was!

One week to the Plant Sale. Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30, 10am to 4pm. At the Jasper Museum.
Mark your calendars for the Jasper United Church’s 58th Annual Plant Sale on Friday May 29th and Saturday May 30th. The Church Thanks the Jasper Yellowhead Museum for hosting our event again.

On Sunday Apr 19, 12 people from Jasper travelled to Hinton and enjoyed the service and fellowship. Doug Heine led worship. Jasper was given a beautiful quilted cross banner created by Margie Van Binsbergen. Margie was a licensed lay leader and a member of Hinton United Church. On display for our Sunday services in Alpine Summit Lodge.

In Memory of Hans Schwarz. Helen, his wife and life long partner, was a long time steward of Jasper United Church.
Rest in Peace Hans.

2001 Patron of the Mountain Guides Ball and beloved friend to the ACC community, Hans Schwarz.

Hans passed away on April 11 and leaves behind an incredible legacy of a life well lived. If you'd like to remember him, please take a look at our 2nd edition of the Summit Series, King of the Spiral Road—it's an incredible read!
