As I was sitting in the shadow of a boarded up broken window at 541 Eatery & Exchange, this verse came to mind.

Let love be our prayer and our posture in response to hate.

Our dear friend Michael Jankauskas has passed away. I’m really sorry if you are hearing this news on social media rather than in person.

Michael has been part of The Meeting Place and 541 communities for many years. He is known for his gentle spirit and kind smile.

On Sunday May 24th at 4pm, The Meeting Place church and 541 Eatery & Exchange will host a celebration of life for Michael at 541 Barton St. E.
