There are still places available on our Anniversary Motorcoach trip to the Annapolis Valley. In fact, we have room for not just you but a few of your friends as well. On Saturday August 22nd, our day out in the Valley will leave Saint Peter’s at 9 AM.
Our first stop, for a musical concert, is at Avon United Church in Hantsport. We then drive down the road to Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church for lunch.
Following lunch, we’ll drive via the Grand Pre UNESCO World Heritage Site, to St. John’s Anglican in Port Williams for a tour of one of the oldest churches in Nova Scotia (1811). It also happens to be the final resting place of Florence Daking, the lady who donated the land on which Saint Peter’s sits.
Next, we will visit one of Nova Scotia’s more successful boutique wineries after which we’ll stop at
a farm market before heading back to the city for a 5 PM return.
The total cost for our outing is eighty dollars (that’s for the motorcoach, the concert and lunch, taxes in). A twenty dollar deposit is required now with the balance paid by June 30th.
