Today DBC Kids Director and Summer Interns took the “Ultimate Survivor “ winner and his friend out for a fun afternoon! We had ice-cream, played at the arcade and then got apple pies at the Harvey’s Drive Thru! Such a great time with terrific people. 😁

And that’s a wrap on Survivor Camp 2026: The Ultimate Journey!
An incredible week spent with awesome kids and amazing staff and volunteers. 🥰
Today we had worship and Bible Time, we finished our lantern craft (which turned out beautifully), tore down our cardboard shelters, had our Reward and Award ceremony, enjoyed our Slip and Slide and more!
We’re praising God for a week of fun, friendships and faith building!

Survivor Camp Day 4 ✅
We headed to Killarney Lake Beach for a few hours of fun.! Water 💦 , sand playing 🏖️and relaxing. After we got back we had Bible time with LOUD worship! 🙌 Our lesson from Daniel Ch 5 about the mysterious hand writing on the wall during King Belshazzar’s big banquet prompted MANY MANY MANY great questions and important conversation. Thankful for these amazing kids!
Our final day is tomorrow….

We’re thankful and proud of our friend! We were enjoying our freezies at Killarney Lake and she suggested that we share what remained with another camp group who were beside us. We counted freezies and asked how many campers they had. We had just enough! Thanks for helping us be kind and sharing Gods love today J.C!

Day 3 of our Survivor Camp was very special! We invited a bunch of guests to join us for lunch and had them host several special station activities. Outdoor cooking, gardening, compasses and wilderness safety, Nature bingo and card making. We also made a cool lantern craft, Bible time and free time !
