A peaceful future means children can attend school, farmers can tend their fields, and families can plan for tomorrow.

Through our work alongside communities, World Renew sees how conflict can put these everyday hopes out of reach. That is why we support efforts to prevent conflict and build lasting peace.

Peter Timmerman, World Renew Canada's executive director, recently signed a letter alongside 28 other faith-based organizations calling on Canada to invest in conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

Our partners Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Alongside Hope, and Mennonite Central Committee - MCC, Canada, also signed. Together, we are calling for an approach that considers people’s health, access to food, and ability to meet their daily needs.

Please join us in praying for families living through conflict and for those working toward peace.

This Sunday our service was short and sweet. It was our annual Fall Service Worship Sunday, and we spent it anywhere but at church! After a light breakfast, pastor Cara reminded us why we do Service Worship- to bring the GOOD NEWS to people who need to hear it, in any form, in many places. Whether we were raking leaves, flipping pancakes, chatting with a new friend, or sorting food, we are chosen by God to share the good news. We are invited from darkness into light, to invite others into that light, too! Hopefully we'll have photos to share soon of Faith Church in action at the various locations they served in Burlington and beyond. 🧡🍁

Our offering this Sunday is for World Renew Canada

What if every family could gather around the table knowing there would be enough?

Enough food for today. Enough seeds for tomorrow. Enough hope for the future.

That’s the vision behind this year’s World Hunger Campaign.

With God’s guidance and the generosity of people like you, World Renew works alongside farmers and families to strengthen harvests, improve nutrition, and build lasting food security.

As we prepare for World Hunger Sunday, we invite you to join us in loving our neighbours through action.

Enough for Every Table.
