Bridging Perspectives Workshop

Register now! This workshop is also suitable for parents to be and youth.

A community-scale workshop designed to strengthen parent–child relationships through two interlocking themes: Perspective Development and Conflict Resolution.

Parents and children move through parallel, time-synchronized tracks of theory, experiential activity, a shared meal, and reflection.

By the end of the day, families leave with a shared vocabulary, lived practice, and concrete tools for the next difficult moment at home.

This is an in-person workshop facilitated by renowned guest speaker Syed Kamil Kazmi

The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Friday, March 20th, 2026, will be the first day of the month of Shawwal, 1447 A.H. for the entire region of North America.

- Eid Prayers will take place tomorrow at 8:30 AM. Please be mindful of not parking at the business plaza as it’s a working day.

- Zakatul Fitra is $15 per person and can be placed at the designated boxes at the center.

- There will be a Community Potluck at the center at 6:45 PM. Families are encouraged to participate with 2 containers of their selected food so it can be shared amongst the brothers and sisters.

- After the Maghreb prayers, we will have a small program for the kids as well as honoring the winners of the Quran competition.

Our Daily program will start at 6;30 PM with Maghrib prayers, followed by Iftar, Dua and then a lecture by Sayed Mohammed Baqer Al-Qazwini who will be joining us for the second half of the month. The program will wrap up with a Q&A session at the end.

Our month of Ramadan program will start daily from Thursday, Feb 19th, at 7:30 PM with Dua, a lecture by our guest speaker Sayed Ali Al-Qazwini, followed by a Q&A session.

- Kindly note that there will be no Iftar served at the center.

- There will be a dedicated area downstairs for children.

- ⁠Kindly be mindful and do not park in front of other businesses in the area.

- Another program will be announced later for the second half of the month, starting March 6th.

Our month of Muharram program will start daily at 7 PM from June 26th until July 6th.

The program will start with Ziyarat, a lecture by our guest speaker Dr. Sayed Hadi Qazwini, Noha in Farsi and Urdu languages, in addition to Arabic recitations by Mula Mostafa Abdalnabi. The program will conclude with congregational Maghrib prayers followed by dinner.

- There will be a Community potluck and celebration at the center at 630 PM. Families are encouraged to participate with 2 containers of their selected food so it can be shared amongst the brothers and sisters. After the Maghreb prayers, we will have a celebration and a monetary gift for all kids ages 15 and under.

Note: There is No program or Iftar at the center on Sunday, March 30th.

The Program will start daily at 7:15 PM and will include the recitation of Ziyarah, a lecture by Sayed Mohammed Sadiq Al-Qazwini and Latmiya by Mula Mustafa Al-Nabi and community members, followed by congregational prayers and dinner.
