Earlier, we were reminded of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16–20), which is our mandate. This is not a suggestion, it is our commission, grounded in the authority of Jesus Christ.
We are called to be the salt of the earth, the light of the world, ambassadors for Christ, living sacrifices, and His hands and feet.
Yet many hesitate because fear of rejection, fear of losing relationships, fear of being misunderstood, lack of confidence or knowledge, social pressure, and because of comfort and complacency.
Still, the call remains.
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14)
This truth is not only a command—it is a reality we see lived out.
Watch this testimony that Pastor Gary shared earlier of a couple whose lives were transformed just because someone chose to share the Gospel with them. What began as a simple act of obedience became the doorway to salvation, restoration, and new life in Christ.
Their story is a powerful reminder: when the Gospel is shared, lives are changed. 🙌
The Gospel's fulfillment:
G - Go
O - Out
S - Spread
P - Preach
E - Evangelize
L - Lead people to Him.
The Power of the Gospel:
G - God
O - offers
S - sinful
P - people
E - eternal
L - life
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)
We do not merely carry a message, we represent Jesus Christ.
"We are not all called to share Christ globally, but we are all called to live Christ locally."
Our mission is clear: Go and tell the Gospel truth. Because someone’s eternity may be changed by your obedience today.
It begins with you and me. It begins with our Church.
Will Jesus find us standing still, or will He find us moving in our purpose?
