God bless our students, and teachers as our young people and youth go back to school today. We also pray for our college age young adults as they make their way to college and universities across Canada.

"Eternal God, bless all schools, colleges, and universities, that they may be lively places for sound learning, new discovery, and the pursuit of wisdom; grant that those who teach together and who learn may find you to be the source of all truth; through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen."

“Gracious God, strengthen and embrace all touched by the landslide and flash flooding in Nepal. Accompany all who grieve, who suffer, who are in pain. Be near to those who watch and wait. We share our deepest condolences with the Brandt family. We will have Evelyn's funeral on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. There will be lunch to follow and then the interment.
