Join us Saturday, May 16 from 9AM to Noon for a fun morning of serving together at Amherst Wesleyan Church! 🛠️🌱🎨

We’ll be tackling a variety of projects around the church including:
✔️ Painting
✔️ Yardwork
✔️ Cleaning
✔️ Light construction
✔️ And more!

Whether you’re handy with tools, great with a broom, or just willing to lend a hand, there’s something for everyone. Come for a little while or stay the whole morning. Many hands make light work! 💚

✨ Sunday Recap – Ruth: Honour or Desire? ✨

This Sunday, Pastor Evan zoomed in on a powerful moment from the Book of Ruth—how Boaz chose honour over desire.

Instead of taking what he wanted, Boaz did things the right way.
He sought permission first, respecting the proper process and the people involved.

In a world that often says “just go for it,” Boaz showed us something different:

• Honour respects others
• Honour waits
• Honour does things God’s way—even when it’s slower

Because of that, his story became part of something so much bigger than himself.

This message challenged us:

👉 Are we chasing what we want… or choosing what’s right?

Honour isn’t always the easiest path—but it’s the one God blesses.
