What a beautiful Sunday together. ❤️
This week, we were reminded of the gift and calling of koinonia; the fellowship we share as the Body of Christ.
In a culture that often encourages independence, Scripture calls us to something greater: a life devoted to Christ and devoted to one another. We reflected on the covenant we share as believers, which is a commitment to walk together in faith, to encourage one another, bear one another's burdens, pray for one another, and grow together as disciples of Jesus.
From the first moments of worship, there was a sweet sense of God's presence among us. Together we lifted our voices in praise, received the truth of God's Word, and spent time seeking Him in prayer. What a privilege it is to gather as the family of God and be strengthened by His presence and by one another.
We also had the joy of celebrating our graduates and this significant milestone in their lives. As they step into a new season, we prayed God's blessing, wisdom, and direction over them, trusting Him to guide their paths and use them for His glory.
One of the most meaningful moments of the morning came at the close of the message, when we joined hands across the sanctuary as a visible expression of our covenant with one another in Christ. It was a powerful reminder that we are not simply attendees gathering in the same room. We are a spiritual family, united by the gospel, committed to loving one another, and called to walk this journey of faith together.
Our hearts are grateful for all that God is doing in our midst. He is building His Church, deepening relationships, strengthening faith, and shaping us into a people who reflect His love to the world around us.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." — Acts 2:42
What a joy it is to belong to the family of God. ❤️ We can't wait to gather again next Sunday.
