The spirit of the Lord is upon me, He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, to proclaim liberty to the bound, to heal the broken hearted and to open doors of prisons for the prisoners.

Reason for being anointed
1) You become totally different from from the people you are sent to.
2)You are separated and protected from God.
3)Demons can't touch you because of the seal of anointing upon you.
4)You are made stronger than what you are fighting by the virtue of God's Spirit in you.
5)To confront what has not been dealt with in the Land.
6)To dominate and control spheres of operations.
7) To bring glory to God who appointed and sent you.

Then Jesus ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

There is a certain time that you must be a secret to people so that when the comes you are ready to drink the cup the God gives to you, it's all about knowing yourself and letting those who are close to you to know about you because it will save you from death before your time or to be set to a wrong purpose before your real work on earth.
