Nehemiah was broken over what he saw. He sat down, wept, mourned, fasted and prayed. But he didn’t stay there.

“When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.” — Nehemiah 1:4

Then came the moment when the king asked him:
“What is your request?” — Nehemiah 2:4

Nehemiah had an answer: “Send me… so that I may rebuild.” — Nehemiah 2:5

There comes a moment when what breaks our hearts has to move us to action. We can see the need. We can mourn over it. We can pray about it. We can talk about everything that needs to change. But the question is: What are you going to do with what God has allowed you to see?

It’s not enough to just talk about change. You can be the change you want to see in this world. Jesus is the answer. He has already given us everything we need. Now it’s our turn to respond—to go, to serve, to build, and to take action.

“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17

So today, the question is: What is your request? What has God put in your heart to do? 🔥🌍

SALVATION PRAYER

LORD Jesus, I believe in my heart and I confess with my mouth. That you came to this world to die for my sins on the cross and reconcile me to yourself.

PLANTED TO FLOURISH

"Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God."

Psalm 92:13

The greatest challenge facing many Christians today is not a lack of passion, conferences, sermons, or even opportunities to serve. The greatest challenge is instability.

Many believers desire the fruit of a mature Christian life without remaining planted long enough for spiritual roots to grow deep.

In nature, fruit is never produced by trees that are constantly uprooted. A tree flourishes because it remains planted. Its unseen roots draw nourishment from the soil, enabling it to withstand storms, survive dry seasons, and continue bearing fruit year after year.

The same principle governs spiritual life.

God never intended believers to live as isolated Christians, drifting from one spiritual experience to another. His design is that every believer should be firmly planted in His house, established in sound doctrine, nurtured within biblical community, and continually growing into maturity.

Psalm 92 presents a powerful picture of the disciple's journey. Those who are planted do not merely survive; they flourish. Their lives become fruitful, resilient, and enduring. Even in old age they continue producing fruit because their strength does not come from themselves but from the place where God has planted them.

True discipleship begins with planting.

Before a believer can effectively serve, lead, or disciple others, they must first learn to remain rooted in Christ and committed to His Body.

The modern culture often celebrates mobility and independence, yet the Kingdom of God celebrates faithfulness and steadfastness. Growth is not produced by constantly searching for new experiences but by faithfully embracing the place where God has called us to grow.
