Main Scripture: Luke 16:19-31

The story of the rich man and Lazarus reminds us that eternity is real and that God is speaking to us today through His Word. In a generation filled with distractions, social media influences, and voices that oppose the Gospel, we must choose to listen to God rather than the world.

The rich man realized too late the importance of salvation and wanted his brothers to be warned. Today, we already have God's Word calling us to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

🔹 Do not trade your soul for temporary pleasures.
🔹 Do not allow the distractions of this world to separate you from God.
🔹 Hear the voice of God and respond while there is still time.

ALTAR VS ALTAR

Preacher: Pastor Martin
Scripture: 1 Samuel 5:1-5

Pastor Martin taught that when the Philistines placed the Ark of God in Dagon's temple, they believed they had defeated God. Instead, Dagon fell before the Ark, showing that no false altar can stand before the true altar of God.

The sermon emphasized that altars release spiritual voices. Godly altars speak blessing, favor, and victory, while evil altars speak bo***ge, delay, failure, and oppression. However, every evil altar must bow when confronted by the presence and power of God.

Using the story of David and Goliath, Pastor Martin explained that David's victory was not just a battle between two men but a victory of God's altar over the altar of the Philistines. David trusted in God's covenant, while Goliath trusted in human strength.

He also encouraged people to come forward for prayer as an act of faith, not because of a man, but because of God who answers prayer.
