PREACHER: APOSTLE GABRIEL MOTSWAGOLE
DATE: 06 -09- 2026
SCRIPTURE: 2 CHRONICLES 20: 1-25/ ACTS 16:25
TITLE: THE LIEFESTYLE OF PRAISE
If you are the reader of scriptures, these two books must do something to you. I am not preaching today,, I want to help someone.
Grace and worship is not starting now. It existed before human nature, before a man was created, worship was there.
There were angels that were dedicated to worship. One of them is Lucifer, who is now an enemy.
Hallelujah.
So worship is like a force. A spiritual force that shifts focus. When a man is down with his emotions, when a man is going through something, striving, worship and praise, can shift their focus to God.
So when you don’t have strength inside of you,
but you have words to say to God, and you begin to tell that to God, God will turn down and look at your situation and shift your situation.
When you lift up your voice and begin to say,
“You are holy, You are holy., when you are going through something that is difficult, forget about what you are going through and you look unto Him.
When you praise Him in the midst of your situation, the Bible says when praise goes up,
the glory of the Lord comes down.
Lift Him high in the midst of your situation.
Your situation has to obey because the presence of God is now coming to you.
Worship is like inviting His presence. You are provoking heaven to respond to human nature through worship because worship is for the Lord.
The Bible says that He doesn’t share worship and Praise with any man.
So when you are facing struggles, you don’t concentrate on the struggles., you look unto the goodness of the Lord.
When people cannot see anything, and the worshipper say, “How wonderful is Your name?”, God's presence will be felt.
The worshipper crying inside of his heart, is able to say, “How wonderful is Your name?”
Inside of your bedroom,
When you praise, something will shift.
The power of fear will shift and the presence of God will fill your room.
Praise and worship is not for the church. It’s not just a presentation.
It’s a lifestyle. Are you hearing me? It’s a lifestyle.
As a child of God, you need to live the life of praise.
You don’t praise because things are fine. You don’t praise because you are fine., but you praise because God deserves your praise.
Hallelujah.
When you praise Him amidst your situation, He will come down. That is why Moses had to understand and we cannot do anything without His presence.
It is the presence of God that will help you to be strong in your situation.
So child of God, whenever you are facing something, think about this thing.
Give the Lord praise that He deserves.
Amen.
*Praise is spiritual.*
*Praise is spiritual.*
*Praise is spiritual.*
Hallelujah. So when you are praising the Lord,
you are ignoring the pressure of the flesh.
And you are able to connect yourself to the Spirit.
When your flesh is weak, never allow your spirit to be controlled by what you feel.
This is a very powerful thing that you need to understand. Praise is a tool of heaven that makes God to appear in your situation
This afternoon I want you to trust this God with praise. It invites God’s presence.
The Bible says God inhabits in the praises of His people.
So when you praise, you create the atmosphere of heaven.
Praise is not for talented people. Every man was created to worship and praise God.
God needs your praise and worship.
When you are going through a situation and you can’t even read the Bible, give Praise.
When God said to Moses, “Meditate upon the Word,” that same Word can become a song.
When the Word becomes a song, you begin to look up to Jehovah. You see Him as a Shepherd.
Alone in your room, you tell Him He is leading you. If you begin to sing that song, the Owner of heaven, the Owner of your life will start to see that you believe in Him.
Praise brings God down to your situation
and God begins to work in your life.
When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into fire, they praised. Those who threw them in increased the fire, but they saw them praising and dancing in the fire.
So when the situation comes, you’re gonna dance in the fire.
King Nebuchadnezzar aclaimed, “We threw 3 men in the fire.
Where did the 4th one come from?”
Where we have just read Jehoshaphat was dealing with a situation. They had fear. He called for called unto the Lord and said, " We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you." Next morning he placed singers infront of the army praising God. As they say God caused the invading armies to turn on and destroy one another, leaving Judah to collect the spoils without havibg to fight.
Praise is a stress reliever.
When you are pressed and unable to sing “Jehovah ke a go leboga,”
know that the devil has defeated you.
If you want to live the life of victory, live the life of praise.
The Bible says God inhabits in the praises of His children. When you praise, God is there with you.
Now the story of Paul and Silas. They decided to take Paul and Silas and put them in prison. At midnight theese prisoners started singing and praying. Suddenly a violent eartgquake shook the foundatiins of the prison, all the prison doors flew open and everyone's chains loosened. The Bible says the Roman prison guard woke up and saw doors wide open . Knowing he will face a shameful ex*****on if prisoners escaped, he drew a sword with intention to kill himself. Paul shouted 'Dont harm yourself, we are all here."
Praise *breaks chains.*
It is an act of a weapon
that helps us to break the forces and chains that are around us.
We might not have the strength,
but when we begin to praise, chains break.
In the Bible, whenever the Israelites won battles,
they would take the praise and worshippers to lead the army.
Those who play the instruments.
I remember when children of Israel were going through the walls of Jericho. Jericho was a heavily fortified city with massive, impenetrable walls. The Bible says Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Isralites, no one went out and no one came in. But Joshua obeyed the instruction of God and as the people shouted and the horns blew, the heavy walls of Jericho collapsed flat before them. They were singing praises and the walls came down, not because of power, but because of praise.
*Praise can break chains in your life.*
There are walls that have been there
in your family. Maybe in your family they say "there's no marriage."
That is the wall that is in front of you.
Maybe there is a spirit of poverty.
That is a wall. But praise... Praise... will break that wall.
After reading the scripture, you say,
“God, if You are able to come down for the children of Israel at the walls of Jericho, why can’t you do the same for me?”
Tell God to bring the walls down —
walls of poverty, of misery.
Our victory is in praise.
You are tired about that situation., do not discuss it, have time with God.
People will not understand, but God will begin to work in your life.
Worship is the thing of the Spirit. Ignore the flesh. Allow the Spirit to talk to the Owner.
Now Paul and Silas are in prison, bound in chains,
and the Bible says at midnight,
these two men, bound by chains,
they started to praise inside the prison.
The battle is not yours.
Why are you putting the baggage on your shoulders?
