When God starts a new thing or wants to give someone a new wine skin, the old must go. This is consistent with scriptures and if you don't know the word or refuse to hear the Holy Spirit in each and every season, you may miss God. Change of levels in our lives is provoked by change of capacity to enable us to host the bigger version of our destiny, things are never automatic in life. When God allowed Job to lose everything He had not lost any love for him, it wasn't any form of punishment, but He wanted to show off with him, and was planning big things for him. He didn't have to tell him because he was also in a test as He had boasted about him before satan. Some have resorted to plan "b" and resorted to baal to help their situation of tests because they want a quick fix and also want to look victorious even in times where they should be hidden in secret place of the Most High and laying down at the throne of grace and mercy to receive help from the Lord, the big issue is "batho ba tlaa reng?" This question will kill many because it is through it that you find yourself opening yourself to things that will lengthen your wilderness and delay your process.
Don't let anyone deceive you, there is a price you pay for change, there is a tarrying you need for you to obtain that change. Seek organic growth, not microwave growth that many end up falling in the hands of wrong sources, that which is of God must contain His fruits, test the spirit, check the fruits and don't be lazy to check and test because the road that leads to destruction is always faster, glamorous and with few trouble, satan can not trouble those who are for him. The new wine needs a new wine skin because if poured on an old wine it will be wasted together with its skin.
As we are in our month of new beginning, take time to really wait on the Lord to hear Him clearly concerning the step to take in this season because, a wrong step is just a waste of time, God never waste wine, He will allow everything gotten through a wrong step to go before He starts His own and before pouring in the new. All the excesses and the little foxes of old must die in the wilderness, before He can release the new. David lost everything he received as a reward from Saul, and started running from one place to another until he finally settled in Zion. Joseph lost everything he had from his father, and all the benefits he received in Potiphar's house before he enjoyed abundance in the palace. Don't allow anything to cause you to fall in faith, or to back down on God or seek help from foreign gods simply because you are in a season of cleanup. Cleanup means all the garbage must go, and if you have things that will cause some people to say "you have what you have because of them," God will allow all that to go so that when He begins a new thing, NOONE will share any glory with Him. A season of revival, restoration and fresh start is upon us, don't hesitate to start afresh.
