Fr Sid Breese, visiting scholar at St Augustine Theological School (SATS) for 4 months in 2015 passed away 22 August at St Joseph, Missouri, USA after a long illness.
He was very fond of Botswana and followed our news via Facebook over the years.
His wife, Rev Mary Schrom Breese, said he loved Botswana, his time here and all the people he met.
She conveys his appreciation to Batswana for their loving care, prayers and support over the years and especially in these last few months.

The funeral will be Friday, 4th September (2 pm CST, 9 pm Botswana time) at Christ Episcopal Church, St Joseph, Missouri.

St Augustine Parish, Serowe mourns the passing of centarian Mr MOCHWARIEMANG JOHN PATI.
He was in-charge of the above Parish as a Lay Minister and Church Elder for a long time before priests were sent to Serowe. Mr Pati served both the church and community of Serowe selflessly without a Parish Priest. For that we remain grateful for his life.

We thank God for his faithful service and dedication to the church. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray that God grants them comfort and strength during this difficult time.
