Message: God Looks at the Heart
By: Mr Molatedi

Scripture: 1 Samuel 16 vs 7

We live in a world that is obsessed with appearance, a world that judges with sight. But God looks at the inside, examining the motives. God values more the condition of the heart than the outward appearance. God is not a man. We humans Care more about how things look outside. Us believers are also not different, we use physical attributes to guide our decisions.

A polished appearance can hide a corrupt heart, while an ordinary looking person can have extraordinary devotion to God. In the case of the Israelites seeking for a King, Saul with his stature and looks was abandoned but David the shepherd boy, with a small physique was appointed King. They didn't expect David to be made their King. What made David special before God was his heart of worship even in secret, a courageous heart when faced with challenges that seemed too great for him like Goliath. He had a repentant heart, and he repented sincerely. In Psalm 51, one of his cries was that God should create in him a clean heart.
***Don't be deceived by appearance.***

God is not looking for perfect people but people with surrendered hearts. Whilst we are trying to measure the level of education, wealth and even beauty of other people to know if we can associate with them, God searches for love, faith, integrity, obedience as well as humility. We need reconditioning of our hearts. Just like with an old car but with a newly built engine can function like a new car, with reconditioned hearts we can be made anew.
***Give your heart to God.***

Some of us are overlooked in the respective place we are meant to be of value or loved. We are overlooked because of how lacking we may be physically but that is not God to us. He searches our hearts and because of what is valuable that is in our hearts He will choose us. A heart can be bitter, proud, double minded, hardened, hateful and harbor all sorts of evil. That is why we are to guard it as everything flows from it. Good or bad flows from the heart and that contributes to our lives, our relationships, health, our spirituality, our words.
***True righteousness starts from the heart.***

***As God creates a new heart for you, guard it at all costs.***

Prayer; Lord, I have had Your Word, create in me a new, clean heart. A heart that seeks Your will above all else and is surrendered to it. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration; "God, that new and clean heart, I shall guard it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Message: Now I can see
By: Pst Moilwa

Scripture: John 9 vs 20 to 27
John 8 v12
John 12 vs 46
Psalm 27 vs 1

There's a discussion held in John chapter 9 between the Jews and a man who was born blind together with his family. At that time the man had gotten his sight. Jesus had healed him. The Jews were against Christ, calling him a sinner, for calling Himself the Messiah and healing on Sabbath. They wanted the blind young man to make out Christ as a sinner but he stuck to his belief. "I was blind but now I can see."

This man was literally sitting in darkness since he was born, knew nothing about the light and how anything looked like. That was until he met Jesus. And when they tried to turn him and his parents against Jesus, he refused. He was holding on to his testimony of his encounter with Jesus, who proclaims Himself as 'the light'. The evidence of Jesus being the light was this man receiving his sight and the same man was bold enough to share this testimony.

Jesus says He is the light, and the light to all men. You have been born-again from your past life. And you may have lived a life as a Christian with situations that seem to be permanent. But Jesus can turn them around just like he did this man's life. He was born without sight and never once had he ever beheld anything until He met Jesus. You may not be blind but there may be some portions in your life where you are unable to function well or even at all. Allow Him to touch you. Allow Jesus to work in your life and transform it.

No situation is permanent, as long as Christ has not intervened, seek Him. Don't know give up faith, don't give up hope. Hold on and keep pursuing Him. Believe that the presence of God in your life is the end of your situation.

***You will testify.***

Prayer; Father, I have received my salvation, help me keep it. There are people who have not seen the light, come to the aid. Remove the veil from their faces. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration; "Father I will testify because you shall come to my rescue. I will run with my testimony without end. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Message: Be Moulded in God's Hands
By: Ms Ntshabele

Scripture: Jeremiah 18 vs 1 to 6

"Can I not do with you as this Potter? As the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand." This statement shows us the sovereign power of God to shape our lives as He wills. This was what God said to the Israelites then and He is saying it to us today. He can mould, and with at most love, wisdom and patience, shaping us to fulfill what He desires of us, which is His will. He shapes us to enable us for the works of His Kingdom and to worship Him.

From our reading, what is being moulded is the broken vessel that the Potter was still working on. A broken vessel in our case, is us living lives in disobedience, living sinful lives. We make poor choices in our lives which end up hurting us and distancing us from God. But God doesn't just discard, He watches over us until the moment comes for Him to intervene and He restores us.
***God can fix a broken vessel.***

To restore us takes time, with God working in our hearts to transform us making us proper instruments for His glory. We are made into vessels of honor. The process may be difficult as sometimes the vessel goes through fire, but it is for the vessel to bring glory to the potter. We are to be patient and faithful to Him in the journey of our restoration.
***Trust God's process.***

The key to being moulded is to surrender. Clay works best when it is wet or mouldable. It does not resist the potter's touch, rather it yields to the movement of his hands. And if we are hard and set on our ways, He will first have to pound us down to start His work on us. We need to surrender fully to God because He has a perfect plan for us.
***Surrender to God's will.***

As God restores and refines us, we are to give Him glory. We do that not by sitting idle with our testimonies and blessings, rather we share them with the world. He has shown us His mercies and grace and ours is to preach the gospel to other people which plays a very big role in changing their lives. We also ought to live lives that are in line with His will, plans and thoughts towards us.
***Proclaim the power of God to others.***

God is the master potter who never gives up on us, even when we are failing. He is always willing to reshape us. He is capable of restoring the years that the locust has stolen. Be obedient and trust Him and His process. Let us let everything turn around in His timing, not ours. God says that just like the potter restored the vessel that was broken, He can restore us too.
***Just like clay in the potter's hands, so are you in God's hands.***

Prayer; Father I have heard Your Word, please mold me into Your desired vessel. Make me into a vessel of honor. I yield myself fully unto You to be shaped to Your liking. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ Christ. Amen

Message: Who will roll the stone for us?
By: Pst Moilwa

Scripture: Mark 16 vs 1 to 7

Three women, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome readied themselves to visit Jesus' grave with the intention of anointing him. They even bought spices for that. It was while they were on their way there when they asked amongst themselves, "Who will roll the stone for us?" The stone used to close Jesus' grave was very huge and heavy to prevent the faking of his resurrection.

These ladies knew about the stone all along and they still made the journey. Even asking themselves that question, they never intended to stop or go back but rather they kept going. Women, with no man amongst them nor the strength within themselves to move the stone made a journey to a destination they determined, achieving their goal was all they had in their minds. It didn't matter that they didn't know how they would accomplish it.

They got to the grave, lo and behold, the stone was rolled. There was a man dressed in white who even delivered to them His message. These women purposed in themselves to go to Jesus' grave no matter the difficulty of the task of moving the stone at the grave. They were not dismayed by their lack of strength or help. And God turned the tide for them. In the old days, not only were women considered weak, they were also not allowed to voice their opinions or execute their minds unlike today.

Without the power they have been bestowed today, these women used their faith. They made all preparations, journeyed and more than they thought possible happened. The stone was rolled, Jesus had risen. God made a way. Don't give up even when facing an impossible situation. Don't just regard yourself as a "mere human" but as one who believes in God. What was experienced by these women was not possible through the help of another human being. God took it upon Himself to send an angel to do the work.

Look up to God for a miracle in your life. Keep persisting in prayer. Keep obeying His commands. Keep your faith. Discard the fear that may lead you astray. Keep the focus. Even in doubt, do the work. What is certain is that there are difficulties in life but it takes faith and preparedness to breakthrough. You cannot sit back and watch things happen while expecting them to work for you. Stand up and make the journey. God will roll the stone for you.
***Nothing is impossible with God.***

Prayer; Lord, help my faith. As I walk this difficult journey of life, help me keep my eyes on the price. Help me trust you even more as I take a step forward. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration; "My faith is in you, God. My faith is in the author and finisher of my faith. I know You will make a way for me. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Message: Stay Strong
By: Pst Moilwa

Scripture: Philippians 4 vs 12 to 13
Matthew 6 vs 31 to 34
Joshua 1 vs 9

From the scripture we read in the book of Philippians, Paul is declaring himself as someone who is capable of living through the times of lack and abundance. He had learnt to accommodate life as it came to him no matter good or bad. What he showed to have understood even more was that he was only capable because Christ gave him strength. Whether he had plenty, less, or nothing, his faith in God and knowledge of what Christ can do for him was firm. No circumstance could change what he knew and believed.
***Gain this knowledge and strengthen your faith.***

Matthew then says not to worry about our basic human needs because God already knows about them. Our faith is based on our knowledge of who God is. That means what we believe is shaped by what we know. And God is presenting Himself as the heavenly Father who knows our needs. If we know this, we won't live our lives like unbelievers who are always anxious and worried about what God is already working on. Seek to know Him. All else will be added to you. That is, everything you need to live in this life.
***Seek first the Kingdom of God.***

Do not worry about tomorrow. Everything has its time and everyday has its own troubles. Each day is different for its own purpose. You cannot carry yesterday's worry into today when you already have work to do for that day, while worrying about a day that you know not whether you will reach or what it holds. Deal with each day as it comes, with the problems it comes with.
***Worry delays solution.***

While you gain knowledge, seek God, do not worry, remain strong and courageous. You are not exempted from troubles of this world as a Christian, God as your Father, Jesus being your strength. As a matter of fact, you are going to face even the most gruesome of challenges meant to make you miss the truth about God eventually doubting Him. Your faith will be tested and without remaining firm, you will be swayed by challenges. Christ was persecuted to a point of death, His apostles the same. He even warned us of the troubles of this world and urged us to remain strong.
***Stay strong.***

Not knowing God as a loving Father can make your understanding and lifestyle the same as that of an unbeliever. But knowing Him can put you at ease and strengthen your faith. He loved Jesus Christ and still, He gave Him to die for our sins. Jesus Christ knew Him and His will enough to remain faithful and surrender His life for us. Your task is to now seek His Kingdom above all else, and His righteousness. While seeking, you are responsible for executing His will. Then watch as He takes cares of you.
***Remain steadfast in God.***

***Stay Strong.***

Prayer; Father, I have heard your Word. I want to remain strong and keep at my pursuit of your Kingdom above all else, seek your righteousness. Help me in this. You know my needs and my problems, help me see and rise above them. Give me peace and help strengthen my resolve. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration; "I will not worry. I will seek to know God above all else. I will choose my faith in Him above my fear and struggles. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Botswana's Crown

We stepped on that track
With fire in our blood.
Hearts bowed before the race begun
Re re halala! blue nation halala!

United we stood,
Four as one, Botswana the blue nation
They showed up and we delivered
Baton to baton, no step faltered

And we thank God
For strength in every stride,
For breath when lungs screamed
For favor that bore us victory.

Still holding on to the title,
History written in our lane.
That's us, Botswana, our pride
Land of peace, now land of speed.

And there they were,
The world watching, doubting, waiting.
But we answered.
The championship record holders
Not by chance but by grace.

Yes, re beditse go utlwala,
Re ka se abe teemane yohle.
So we run, we win, we worship.
We saw. We conquered

Message: Prayer is a Solution to Our Situations in Christian Life
By: Bro Sebogodi

Scripture:

Prayer is a way of communicating with God, depending on Him and building faith. It is not just done religiously but to build a relationship between God and a believer. It is the main thing in a Christian's life.

1, Prayer is communication to God.
-You talk to God and listen to Him in prayer. You don't just say what you want but also listen to His mind. (Jeremiah 33 vs 3) If you're not in communication with Him, and you are the only one there to speak and not listen, you wouldn't know the solutions to your problems, nor the mysteries being talked about. These days Christians are more about their lives than the matters of God. And when their pursuits hurt them, they harden their hearts towards God's commands even though He was never involved in theirs in the first place.
***Speak and listen back to God.**"

2, We are commanded to pray regularly.
-Prayer is not optional for a believer, it must be your daily bread. You should pray in whatever you do, regardless of whether you feel like it or not. (1 Thessalonians 5 vs 17) Don't do prayer only in times of emergencies, but be consistent in it.
***Take prayer as a command.***

3, Prayer brings peace.
-Prayer helps calm anxiety and worry. (Philippians 4 vs 6) We could tell people our problems but sometimes that doesn't provide the solution. Tell God your problems from now on. He says you should bring everything to Him in prayer, and do not worry nor be anxious (1 Samuel 1 vs 1 to 18). "If we don't have peace, we will be hindered to see the hand of God working in our lives."
***Bring your case before God, and find rest.***

4, Prayer strengthens faith and dependence on God.
-Prayer helps believers understand that they cannot depend on themselves. (Proverbs 3 vs 5 to 6) Relying on yourself only makes things difficult, you have seen where your paths lead. Turn to God, and trust Him to direct your path. When Moses was on his mission of leading the Israelites, he placed them in the hands of God. When they complained, he turned to God. The most certain thing in this life is that it has so many challenges, all you need to do is lean on God.
***Pray always in faith and Spirit.***

5, Prayer aligns us with God's will.
-We not only pray to get what we want but to seek the plans of God. (Luke 22 vs 42). We are to be running after the things of God, not to be burdened by the things of the world. Believers are sons and daughters of God, His ambassadors, and it is Him we are to emulate.
***Always pray to know the will of God concerning you.***

He said to call and He will answer. Hezekiah did that and God did not put him to shame. God's house is the house of prayer, remember you are a Temple of the Holy Spirit. Pray, and God will show Himself to you.
***Pray.***

Declaration; "I have heard your Word, I shall pray unto you, keep my faith. I will be leaning on you from here on. I know you will not let me down nor will you forsake me. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen."

Message: Multiplying through Sacrifice
By: Bishop Mooketsane

Scripture: John 12 vs 24

Unless a seed dies, it remains alone. But once it dies, it multiplies. We have different views on death which are not always good, but God has made it that some things be accomplished through death. This death is what we call sacrifice. And sacrifice is the basis of our covenant with God, Psalm 50 vs 5. The foundation of a Christian life or relationship with God is based on sacrifice, Romans 5 vs 8. Christ died for us to be in a convenant with Him. In John 12 vs 24, He was talking about His death and resurrection bringing many people to salvation.

Now, we have 2 Corinthians 5 vs 14 telling us that the love of Christ, His sacrifice controls us. In His love we are learning to live according to His will, that is, we stop living in sin and choose to live righteousness. Christ died for us, therefore we belong with Him when we die to our old lives. We die to the life where we led and controlled ourselves. When there is love, nothing is difficult.
***Be compelled by the love of Christ.***

Sacrifice is a requirement for disciples of Christ on a daily basis - Matthew 16 vs 24. Christianity is not a call to comfort but sacrifice. You must sacrifice yourself daily. Always denying yourself and taking up the cross. If He died, you cannot escape dying. A disciple learns and almost mimics every one of his teacher's teachings and actions. Christianity is a life of following.Even Christ declared that, "His meat or nourishment is to do the will of the Father." If you are following it means you are being led, not just remaining behind.

You cannot be a Christian while you are still living according to your desires. Only when you are in sync with Christ's movements and patterns are you His disciple. For the longest time you have been a Christian, there has been no change in your character, works, growth in your faith yet Christ has put a template of Himself to follow. You need to be exemplary to young believers but you are in the same state or stage as them. There needs to be growth. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 15 vs 32, talked about how he is laying his life down as a sacrifice for others to grow. Not only was he doing this in self denial but he put his life on the line too.
***Deny yourself, take up the cross, and Follow Christ.***

Luke 22 vs 42 explains sacrifice through the prayer Jesus made to God that, the cup of suffering passes Him by but nevertheless at God's will and not His. He was looking at His suffering as something difficult to endure but more than that He desired that it be the will of God not His. Now, as believers, daily when making choices, we should put ourselves in Christ's position to seek God's will above our own. Surrendering our will, for the will of God daily despite it not giving us pleasure.

God is not an idol who only does our bidding. He is a King and a ruler who most assuredly wants what is best for us as His people, most especially as our Father. Don't do anything before asking for God's position in the matter. Pray without ceasing. Allow yourself to be led by the Spirit of God at all times and obey.

In sacrifice, not only do you surrender your will but you must also offer your body as a living sacrifice, that is Romans 12 vs 1. Because our bodies are what makes manifest our thoughts, intentions, beliefs, and we use them to sin, God is demanding them a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to Him. The body often desires that which is contrary to the will of God.

Your body belongs to Christ upon being born again, which means it is subject to Him not your desires and feelings that is why it needs to be offered to Him for His works. Holiness means living without sin, being spotless. Not just going to church and doing a few things that are practiced in church or doing things deliberately because you can still ask for forgiveness from God.

Unless we die, we can never bear fruits and multiply. What is most important in bearing fruits and multiplying is that we bear fruits that are pleasing to God. That is only possible when we shed ourselves and live according to the patterns of Christ as the way, the truth and the life. And one of those patterns is death to sin, the flesh, and old selves.
***Be like a seed that is willing to die for it to multiply.***

Prayer: Father, I have heard your word. Help me obey it even when it is not easy. Help me live a life of sacrifice that I may be pleasing to you. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration: "Dear Lord, I choose your will against my will from here onwards. I shall lay my life as a sacrifice to you all the days of my life. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen."

Message: On Mission-Multiply
By: Pst Nompa

Scripture: Genesis 1 vs 28

"Be fruitful and multiply,..." The first instruction ever given to man, be fruitful and multiply, in that order. This is to say that you first have to bear fruit before you can multiply. God has put something within you, "...God blessed them...", a blessing that you are to bear fruits from and multiply. You may not recognize that blessing that God has put in you but it is there. Remember Moses didn't recognize the staff in his hand as great and useful until God revealed what He can do with it. From then on, Moses never left the staff and it was used in most of the miracles Moses performed throughout their journey. To bear fruits, you first need to recognize the blessing God has put in you. After recognizing the fruit, you can multiply.
*** If you don't discover your blessing for fruitfulness, you won't be able to multiply.***

It doesn't now end with discovering your blessings, you need to also be in a position to receive aid and care so that you are fruitful. In Psalm 1 vs 3, instead of being likened to a great animal elephant, which grows big and older than humans, we are likened to a tree. One that has dug its roots deep into the soil to withstand the shaking of winds no matter how tall it may grow. Now, when you are like this tree, when the waves of this world( challenges made to derail you) come, they won't disturb your fruit no matter how hard they hit you. Rather, you will be fruitful all the more at the right season.

Being fruitful is a command no one is excused from. When Paul made a confession of how they are being pressed from both sides, he kept his faith, and fulfilled his task. There may be a mountain before you but you need to look ahead at the finish line, bearing fruits. God looks at us as those He has blessed and equipped to be fruitful and multiply.
*** There is no excuse to not bear fruits.***

John 15 vs 7 instructs us to remain in God. All your life should be in God. And keeping His commands should be your daily lifestyle. Remaining in Him and keeping His commands helps us bear fruits He delights in. Yes, God wants us to be fruitful and multiply, but there are certain fruits He desires from and for us. Not just any fruit, but the one that is pleasing to Him. In God, we are like a tree by the river side, drinking its water. In this instance, the water we are drinking is from God.

The word of God doesn't deny life challenges but we can only withstand them in Christ. Sometimes we run to the world for answers about our identity, our blessings instead of running to and remaining in God. We want the world to tell us who we are, yet the word of God has answers for us. Be like David, remain in God, enquire from Him. Meditate in His word. Then you shall be rightly fruitful and flourish.
***Remain in God, to be rightly fruitful, and to multiply.***

***In Mission - Multiply***

Prayer; Father, I have heard Your Word and I desire to remain in you that I may multiply. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration; " I shall be fruitful and I will multiply. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Message: Total Commitment
By: Pst Moilwa

Scripture: Luke 9 vs 57 to 62
Romans 12 vs 20 to 21
John 8 vs 12

While in a journey through villages, Jesus went around teaching. One of the recipients of His teachings said he would follow Jesus. Upon answering, Jesus said to him that certain wild animals, that may seem not to be tendered to by anyone, have shelter but not the Son of man. How come He does not have a resting place? Who is it that is failing to fulfill their task? Who is it that is supposed to accommodate Him?
***Think on it.***
(Side note: Acts 17 vs 24, Acts 7 vs 48 to 50… 1 Corinthians 6 vs 19)

The other one had a similar response but with the desire to bury his late father attached to it. And Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God." This was not said to disrespect the honor of burying the dead. He said this to alert him that in the journey of following Him, priority should be with the gospel than the goings of the world. One of Jesus' responses was, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God," to a fellow aspiring disciple who wanted to go back home to bid his family farewell.

The responses of these men who wanted to follow Christ were of people who had so much ties to the world yet wanted to be a part of a mission of people who had to Illuminate it. They had not prepared themselves to do what it takes to follow Christ. His path demands focus and complete surrender. God first and everything else second. We, like these aspiring followers, have so many excuses as to why and how we cannot do what God is requiring of us and even if/when we do, we follow our own patterns not His instructions.

There is a way in which you can follow God and He has never hidden it from us. Love one another including your enemies. Feed them when they are hungry, forgive them when they hurt us. Overcome evil with good. That's the instruction of God which is opposed to human nature. When it comes to our service to God, we only do it when it is convenient to us. We don't make time but wait for when we are free. To follow Christ, we need to accommodate Him without exception. Don't pick and choose from His commands. Don't waver in faith.

We tend to let our worldly affairs supersede our commitment to God. Be it problems, successes, good or bad days, nothing should take priority in our lives before God. Let us give Him our all in our pursuit of Him or journey with Him.

Prayer: Lord, I need you. Help me remain in you and choose you above all. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Declaration: "I completely surrender myself to God and I shall abound in Him. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen."

Multiply!!! Be blessed during the Easter Holidays!!!
