Prophet Dr Metsi
The word: The 7 Spirits
Reading: Isaiah 11:1-4
📖 Brethren as the new month has begun I bring to you a powerful message that will give you comfort and determination to strive for greater things. This message will guide you and all the steps that God wanted you to take this year you will embark on them. As you read the quoted scripture, you will notice that when a prophecy has been given, no amount of evil could try to stop it or manipulate it. Rather at the appointed time it will manifest and everyone will bear witness. This is a word upon your life child of God, any prophecy that has been given to you shall not be harmed by the kingdom of darkness rather it will come to pass just as it has been spoken/declared.
📖 The prophecy given in Isaiah 11 is that of the coming Messiah, described as a shoot growing from the family line of Jesse. He will be filled with;
1. The spirit of the Lord
2. The spirit of wisdom
3. The spirit of understanding
4. The spirit of counsel
5. The spirit of might
6. The spirit of knowledge &
7. The spirit of reverence for God.
📖 These are the 7 spirits of God that you as a child of God you also need to embody so that you may live a life guided by the spirit of God. This means you will have discernment and you will constantly hear what the Lord is guiding you to do. In other simple terms when you have to make a very important decision, you need to seek God's wisdom and direction and not rely on your emotions or what looks attractive to you. The spirit of wisdom and understanding will be given to you by God willingly when you seek His wisdom.
📖 Remember this, when you are treated unfairly there is a ruler who judges righteously and gives justice to the poor. Let people mistreat you, let them misunderstand you, let them exclude or deny you an opportunity because Isaiah reminds us that God sees beyond human opinions and values justice. This also can go the other way which challenges you when you have authority over others, you should treat people fairly rather than favoring who benefits you. For God does not pick and choose to favour, He blesses all, He favours all and He cares for all. And He is the only one to judge because He judges righteously.
