🕊️ Requiem Mass for Mr Ronnie Mogotsi 🕊️

Today, the family of St Patrick Anglican Church Francistown gathered in prayer and remembrance as they celebrated the Requiem Mass of Mr Ronnie Mogotsi, a devoted member of the Anglican Men’s Fellowship in the Anglican Diocese of Botswana

As we entrusted his soul into the loving hands of our Lord, we give thanks for a life lived in faith, fellowship, and service to the church. Though we mourn his passing, we find comfort in God’s promise of eternal life and the hope of the Resurrection.

We continue to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Mogotsi family, friends, and all who were touched by his life and witness. May God’s peace and strength sustain you during this difficult time.

“Blessed are those who die in the Lord.” – Revelation 14:13. May Mr Ronnie Mogotsi rest in eternal peace, and may light perpetually shine upon him.

Emotional abuse can look like constant criticism, manipulation, humiliation, threats, isolation, or being made to feel worthless. Over time, these behaviors can affect a person’s confidence, mental health, and sense of self-worth.

💜 Remember:
✔ You deserve respect.
✔ You deserve kindness.
✔ You deserve to feel safe.

If someone’s words or actions repeatedly hurt, control, or diminish you, it is not okay.

🗣 Speak up.
🤝 Support one another.
🖤 Create safe spaces.

Because emotional abuse is real, and no one should suffer in silence.

THURSDAYS IN BLACK – FATHERS AGAINST GBV

As fathers, we are called to be protectors, mentors, and examples of love and respect. Gender-Based Violence has no place in our homes, churches, or communities.

Today, we stand together to reject violence, challenge harmful attitudes, and raise a generation that values dignity, equality, and peace.

A true father does not use power to hurt but to protect. Let us teach our children that respect is strength, kindness is courage, and every person deserves to live free from fear.

First Mass Celebration for Rev. Mr. Bahayesi at St Patrick Anglican Church Francistown

Today, on Trinity Sunday, we were blessed to have Reverend Mo. Bahaesi with us at St Patrick.

Trinity Sunday reminds us of the mystery and beauty of our God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three Persons, one God. It’s a day to celebrate His presence, love, and unity that we’re also called to reflect as His church.
