Title: PRAISE, WORSHIP AND THANKSGIVING AS A MISSING LINK IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

Thanksgiving is giving gratitude to God for what He has done. It focuses on the gifts of God, his blessings and all His Provisions all our lives. Thanksgiving is an entry point to worship and praise to God.
Praise is admiration of who God is. It focuses on the character and majestic presence and all He does. We see He's a Great God, Holy and Mighty. We show this by singing songs of praise with dancing and clapping, adoring His Greatness, knowing that all His blessings are on us and our blessings come in a different way for He is faithful and whatever He said in His Word, He shall fulfil it.
Worship is to surrender our lives unto Him as He is the Supreme God. It focuses on His Greatness, Holiness and Majesty. We show that by bowing down before Him in humility unto His Presence. Worship goes beyond music and celebration. It's a lifestyle that every Christian should adopt. As long as we claim to be say we are Christians, we ought to praise, worship and thank Him. We give our ultimate surrender before him. As we are, giving our bodies as living sacrifices.
How do these three go together?
These three may differ but work together. We need to know how to thank the Lord. We need to know how to worship God. We start by thanksgiving, for our daily bread, good health, our families, and everything that the Lord has done. We then celebrate His Greatness with songs of praise and joy and settle in deep worship where intimacy with the Holy Spirit is found.
Who needs to give these three to God?
We children of God. Those called by His Name. We need to worship, give thanks and praise God. All saints, all righteous, all creation are ought to do that. (Jeremiah ) We need to give Him the worship, praise and thanksgiving that He deserves.
How do we worship God?
By raising our hands, singing, clapping and shouting His praises, dancing before Him, kneeling before Him, using our instruments to worship Him.
Why should we worship Him?
Because He is God. There's no one like Him. In Psalms, those who worship other gods, will look like them. Who do we look like? You are in the likeness of God, so we should give it to Him because He deserves it, He is Holy and Sovereign. His favour lasts a lifetime. Some men give you favoura for their own gain but God's mercies enduraeth forever.
Benefits of the big three
When the praises go up, His blessings come down. His Healing reaches us and His love covers us.
Joshua 6:2-16
There are instructions that God gave to Joshua to follow so they have victory over Jericho. Joshua and the people of Israel obeyed the commands of the Lord, even if they didn't make sense. It's important to be obedient. It's like building a house. Missing even one small thing can affect the structure and build of the house. We go through situations that can be hard to talk about. In that turmoil, give Him the praise and worship. No matter how heavy and painful things are, give Him all the love, honor and adoration and see how God changes your life. The walls of Jericho were brought down by worship and praise.
Judges 7
Gideon and his army didn't use any weapons to defeat the Midianites, they only obeyed God and worshipped Him. Worship gives us victory through Jesus Christ. We need to listen to what the Lord is instructing us to do for us to be victorious. There are situations where you need to sing a song or fast. We need to be obedient. Without obedience, the results are unpleasant. Let's not forget God. No matter what you're going through.
Conclusion: God is waiting for us to give Him the praise and worship and gratitude that He deserves. When they go up, His glory comes down. Are you ready for that?
