THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS, UPRIGHT MAN AVAILETH MUCH
Let me take this time to honour our Father, Messiah’s greetings Papa, Messiah’s greetings Mama, we thank you Papa for giving us this opportunity to serve God with you. It is so wonderful my Father, we love you, as you loved us and your love has been poured in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. We thank you Papa for such wonderful words that were given unto us. Church be greeted we love you so much. It is the hour of prayer, the hour to praise God, our perfector, our strengthener, our advocate, we have to praise and glorify Him.
It is the hour of prayer, we have to be true intercessors. If you are a true intercessor what you pray for, God gives it unto you. Because He is looking at your heart on how you pray, it is time to give ourselves unto the Lord. To remain honest in prayer not praying only because we have a situation. Not praying only because we are in the house of God. Because prayer is made at all times wherever you are. You continue to pray, you do not look at your situation, the true prayer is the prayer that is done at all times.
We have to know that it is not us who found God, God is the one who found us and brought us to Himself. We to always be in prayer always, just like Prophet Elijah who was the great prophet, he prayed for the rain not to rain and he truly prayed and the rain did not rain. Rain did not rain in three years because God gave him what he was praying for, and he started again after those years he prayed that the rain should not rain. He came back and prayed again for the rain to rain and the rain came down, it rained. The heavens brought rain and the plants began to grow because of his prayer.
James 5:17-18 NIV
..[17]Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
Verse 18
..[18]Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
He prayed with the uprightness in God, his heart was standing right with God. He gave his heart to God, this is what we have to do at all times to allow God to be the one who is controlling our hearts. We should allow the peace of Christ to be the ruling in our hearts. We should not delay ourselves with the things of the world. We should not delay ourselves with complaining, but if we can trust in the Lord and giving Him all that we do, for the Holy Spirit to lead us in what we are doing.
Prophet Elijah prayed in Spirit and in truth for the rain not to come. If we become true intercessors, if we ask from the Lord the Lord will answer us. If you pray God will be looking in your heart that which you are asking and that which you need. But before you kneel and pray He has already given you what you are looking for. Because what the Lord is doing is that He is looking for the heart. He looks at the heart to check the kind of heart that is praying or you pray only when you are in church. The truth is that you pray wherever you are, because prayer is for the one who trust in the Lord.
Prophet Elijah came back after three years to pray for the rain and the heavens gave rain. The heavens gave rains and the crops began to grow. That which grow in the earth began to grow, because of the prayer that was made which is the truth. I believe we know that Christ has died for us, when we live, we no longer living for ourselves but we live for the one who died for us. Let us be straight in God and have all the truth in God. So that when we pray we should pray with pure hearts. It should be purified heart and we should know that God will answer and give you what you are looking for.
What you ask from Him, he gives unto you, just like we saw Prophet Elijah praying in truth and in Spirit praying for the rain not to rain and he later he prayed for the rain to rain and it was given. Because God had given the rain, that was asked for. And the heavens grew crops. As the Lord has chosen you to become the intercessor of the nations, you will pray for them. Know that it is not prayer only when you pray for yourself and your family but you pray for all.
The Lord chose you to pray for all so that the people may receive salvation from God. So that they may have life in God, that is why we should continue fixing our eyes on the things from above not things from below. Where Christ is sitted in the right hand of God, the beginner and finisher of our faith. In John 17, Jesus was praying for His desciples but as He continues He said, "im not praying for these ones alone but I pray also for those who will believe in me".
John 17:20-21 NIV
..[20]“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, ...[21]that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
His desciples were going around preaching the gospel but He prayed for them. And He said He is not only praying for them but also for those who will believe in me through their message. We make prayer to be one with our Father. For them to be one in Him as He is one in us. As we are one in Him we made prayer that is not difficult because the Spirit that lives in us is the one leading us to do the work of God.
When you pray you should know that you have to give God your heart so that God may accept what you speak or ask from Him. We have to humble ourselves before the Lord, without pride thinking that we know how to pray. We have to pray humbling ourselves, God needs people who humble themselves before Him. We serve God because He loved us, because He is the one who called us. God is the one who called us and brought us to Himself.
We have to serve Him in Spirit and in truth. The Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of God. If He lives in us we will do the will of God not our will. We should allow Him to lead us to where we are supposed to go. It should not be because of our hearts that we needs this and that. It should be God living in you and you living in Him. That is the prayer needs to be made always knowing it is for God, we trust in God not in a man. When you encounter challenges give them unto God and God will make everything well. He will strengthens us even in His work, we are going to pray in Spirit and in truth.
You pray for all people so that they may gain life in God. Even your family you pray for them so that He may strengthen to do His work without ceasing. You walk in the path of God and you do what is right, that which God sees in you. You walk according to your calling.
Hallelujah!
