Make a Difference, Be the Difference We aren’t perfect! We number around 450 in total.

Here at Community Baptist, we are passionate about two things – God and people. We are incredibly thankful for God’s unconditional love and grace shown through Jesus, and we do our best to show people – no matter their story – this same love and grace. So we think just about everybody will find a place in our community. By God’s grace, Community Baptist has been striving to fulfil His purposes in Toowoomba for over 140 years. Although there have been many physical changes over time, the heartbeat of our church has always been to see disciples made in our city and in the parts of the world Jesus sends us. We are a diverse community from many different cultures and countries. No two people are alike, with a rich variety of life experiences and backgrounds making up a true and living mosaic! We are understated, informal, and love a good laugh. We also know when to get serious and we aren’t afraid of hard work.

Welcome!
Following on from last Sunday’s message pertaining to some guidelines when considering the election of key leaders to serve in a church, this Sunday we will be looking at the remaining two chapters in Paul’s epistle to Titus which provide guidelines for us as congregants to consider as we encourage and serve within the scope of the leaders that we elect.

These guidelines provide helpful insights for us in cultivating a spiritually healthy church environment.

At TCBC we aim to build a church environment where leaders find it to be a pleasure to serve as leaders.

It is always good to have you all come along and be part of the regular TCBC activities. We are so grateful to the Lord for the good rain that we have enjoyed this past week which was a reminder again that our trust needs to be grounded in El Shaddai and not in El Nino!

The message this Sunday will be from Paul’s letter to Titus and will address key church-leadership components that we should all keep in mind, both as leaders as well as those involved in electing church leaders.

Welcome to TCBC.

Whether you're coming along for the first time or you're a regular member of our church family, it's great to have you join us for worship, and for some fellowship after the service.

This morning we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 and will take some time to consider how God comforts us in the hard times in life.

God is always faithful, and He always provides for us, even when we struggle to see Him at work.

My prayer is that this sermon will be an encouragement to each of us, whether we're facing challenges or supporting others who might be in that season of life.

Enjoying the last two days, making a difference and being the difference with and for Jesus.

Sunday the 11th of October
There will be sharing of all the outreaches that have been happening in and through our church family within the last month.

It has been phenomenal the amount of outreaches that have taken place on our frontlines, marketplaces and margins.

There will be an “international lunch” afterwards. Please bring a dish of your favourite cultural food so that we can celebrate and share together.

Welcome to TCBC.

We are delighted to worship with you this week, whether you're joining us for the first time or whether you're a regular member of our family here at TCBC.

This week we will be concluding our series through Song of Solomon with a study of 'lasting love' from Chapter 8.

As we come to the end of this series, our prayer is that these messages will have encouraged each of us to fix our eyes on God's purposes in intimacy, both in our personal relationships and in our relationship with God Himself.

We praise God for His good gifts and celebrate the opportunities that we have to share His love in each part of our lives.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in our church family!
Today, we especially want to acknowledge and express our appreciation for fathers and father figures who faithfully invest in the lives of their families.
At TCBC, we are grateful for the many men who, alongside their wives and families, seek to model Godly character, loving leadership, humble servanthood, protection, provision, and faithfulness.
Being a father is both a wonderful privilege and a significant responsibility. The Lord has entrusted precious lives into your care, and your influence—through your words, your example, your love, and your everyday faithfulness, you can have a lasting impact for generations to come. So, dads, keep going and keep trusting the Lord!
What you do matters, even on the days when the challenges of parenting may seem overwhelming or your efforts appear to go unnoticed. Today is an opportunity for us to pause and say, “Thank you!”
Thank you for the love you give, the sacrifices you make, the wisdom you share, and the ways in which you seek to point your families towards Christ. We pray that you will enjoy this special day set aside to honour and appreciate you.
And to everyone joining us today—whether you are a father, grandfather, father figure, or simply part of our wider church family—welcome!
