Make a Difference, Be the Difference We aren’t perfect! We number around 450 in total.

Here at Community Baptist, we are passionate about two things – God and people. We are incredibly thankful for God’s unconditional love and grace shown through Jesus, and we do our best to show people – no matter their story – this same love and grace. So we think just about everybody will find a place in our community. By God’s grace, Community Baptist has been striving to fulfil His purposes in

Toowoomba for over 140 years. Although there have been many physical changes over time, the heartbeat of our church has always been to see disciples made in our city and in the parts of the world Jesus sends us. We are a diverse community from many different cultures and countries. No two people are alike, with a rich variety of life experiences and backgrounds making up a true and living mosaic! We are understated, informal, and love a good laugh. We also know when to get serious and we aren’t afraid of hard work.

Welcome to TCBC!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in our church family!
Today, we especially want to acknowledge and express our appreciation for fathers and father figures who faithfully invest in the lives of their families.
At TCBC, we are grateful for the many men who, alongside their wives and families, seek to model Godly character, loving leadership, humble servanthood, protection, provision, and faithfulness.
Being a father is both a wonderful privilege and a significant responsibility. The Lord has entrusted precious lives into your care, and your influence—through your words, your example, your love, and your everyday faithfulness, you can have a lasting impact for generations to come. So, dads, keep going and keep trusting the Lord!
What you do matters, even on the days when the challenges of parenting may seem overwhelming or your efforts appear to go unnoticed. Today is an opportunity for us to pause and say, “Thank you!”
Thank you for the love you give, the sacrifices you make, the wisdom you share, and the ways in which you seek to point your families towards Christ. We pray that you will enjoy this special day set aside to honour and appreciate you.
And to everyone joining us today—whether you are a father, grandfather, father figure, or simply part of our wider church family—welcome!
We are delighted that you are here.
May the Lord bless you and your family, and may you have a wonderful week ahead!
Pieter.

Welcome to TCBC!

A special welcome to family and friends of the Kim family as you celebrate and support Adam, Shelle, and Reuben in their dedication of Lacey this Sunday.

On another note, well done to all the youth of TCBC who participated in doing such a great job in leading the Sunday service last week!

This Sunday the sermon will come from Chapter 6 in our “Song of Solomon” preaching series as we look at the importance of being intentional in expressing appreciation in our closest relationships.

Welcome to TCBC.

We are delighted to have you join us this week, whether you're a first time visitor or a regular member of the TCBC church family.

Our sermon this morning is on Proverbs 4, with the theme of 'Ageless Wisdom'.

This week we are especially delighted to unleash Friday Night Youth upon our Sunday service. Whether it's greeting at the door, serving coffees, singing, or speaking, our youth will be active in every part of our special Youth Service this morning.

They are beyond excited to have this opportunity, and our youth leaders are privileged to have been on this journey with them preparing for this service.

May God fill you with His grace and peace this week, and we look forward to seeing you!

God bless, Matt

Welcome!

We’d love you to linger around in the foyer after the service and enjoy a cuppa and a brief catch-up. It’s always good to enjoy some fellowship together! In our current preaching series through the book “Song of Solomon,” last Sunday Ps. Matt Munro helped us consider “A Biblical Perspective on Handling Conflict in our Relationships” from Chapter 5.
This Sunday, we’re going to briefly backtrack to Chapter 4 to complete the final section that we didn’t get to finish the previous week. In the first two parts of Chapter 4, we considered Beauty – God’s Antidote to Lust, and Unity – God’s Antidote to Casual Intimacy. This week, we come to the final antidote: Worship – God’s Antidote to Idolatry, as we explore verses 12–16.

As we continue to fix our eyes on God’s good purposes for relationships, may we be reminded that ultimately, our deepest love and devotion belong to Him. Have a great week, and may God bless you!

Welcome to TCBC.

Whether you're a regular member of our church family, or you're just visiting this week, it's great to have you join us.
We hope you have a wonderful time with us.

This week we will look at Song of Solomon with Chapter 5,
"A Biblical Perspective of Handling Conflict Within Relationships."

We will see what insights the Bible gives on the causes of conflict and how we can respond in a way that brings grace and healing.

No matter your stage in life, I pray that you will be encouraged as we consider the hope that God offers even when things go wrong in our lives. May God fill you with His peace this week!
God bless, Matt.

We continue our Song of Solomon preaching series with
Part 4: "A Biblical Perspective on Intimacy".

My prayer is that whatever your stage of life, you will be encouraged as we fix our eyes on God's good design and, above all, on the Lord Jesus Christ, who loves His people with a perfect and faithful love.

May God richly bless you in the week ahead.
God bless, Pieter

Welcome to TCBC!

Whether you're a regular part of our church family or visiting for the first time, we're delighted that you've joined us today.

We will be continuing our Song of Solomon series this week with "A Biblical Perspective on Commitment and Desire," from Song of Solomon Chapter 3.

We will explore what commitment looks like in biblical relationships, God's wisdom around our desires, and how Jesus' love touches these sensitive parts of our lives.

May you know God's loving presence this week, and we look forward to worshipping and hearing from God's Word with you!
