On Sunday we were blessed to hear from Ed Devine from Baptist World Aid Australia as he updated us on our Cambodia Project and Partnership and shared on the topic of ‘Living as Inbetweener’s’.

This Sunday Pastor Matt will be concluding our 'What's Love Look Like?' sermon series and focussing on 'living as Witnesses' in Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12.

Following our service we will also be holding our Annual Members Meeting up in The Hub. All members are encouraged to attend as we vote on our new Constitution.

✨ What an incredible Sunday at Lakeside!

We were blessed to be joined by Sonshine FM CEO Michael Pailthorpe and Relationship Manager Rodney Olsen 🎙️ Rodney shared a powerful message on living as Collaborators as we continued our “What’s Love Look Like” series.

We’ve also raised $16,595 toward our $50,000 goal for our Beyond The Gate Appeal, $2,000 of which will go towards supporting the ministry of Sonshine FM 🙌

This coming Sunday we will be joined by Radio Host and Relationship Manager at Sonshine (98five), Rodney Olsen. Rodney will continue our series ‘What’s Love Look Like’ and will be speaking on the topic ‘Living as Collaborators’ as well as profile the work of Sonshine FM.

Following our service, we will be holding a workshop to identify our ‘Core Values’ as we continue with our Next Steps process. All are invited to attend.

What a fantastic night at our Men’s Pie Night! 🥧🙌

We were privileged to hear from our NBL1 Men’s imports, Isaiah Lewis and Michael Imariagbe, who shared their personal stories, journeys in basketball, and the experiences that have shaped them both on and off the court.

We also heard an encouraging and challenging message from Dan Walz on “Endurance through Adversity”, a reminder of the importance of perseverance, faith, and character through life’s challenges.

A great night of food, community, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Thanks to everyone who came along! 💪🏀

Last Sunday we officially launched our Beyond the Gate appeal for 2026. We will be raising funds to support our current missionary partners who serve with Baptist Mission Australia, as well as key projects in partnership with Baptist World Aid Australia, Love Mercy Foundation and Destiny Rescue. We will also continue our partnership with Sonshine (98five).

This Sunday is Mother's Day and we will be joined in our service by Bek and Scott Falconer who are currently serving as missionaries in Mozambique. Bek will be sharing God's Word with us, and be sharing on the topic 'Living as Beautifiers' as we continue our series 'What's Love Look like?'

This Sunday, as part of May Mission Month, we will launch our Beyond the Gate appeal for 2026. Throughout May we will be raising funds to support our current mission partners that we support as a church, as well as key projects in partnership with organisations like Baptist World Aid Australia, and Destiny Rescue. This year, we will also be working through a Baptist Mission Australia series titled ‘What’s Love Look Like’.

This Sunday we will be joined by Julia Yeow from Destiny Rescue who will share more about the project we will be raising money to support.

Dan will be speaking on the topic ‘Living as Imitators’ and we will also be taking communion together.
