And that's a wrap for Term 1! The last club night of the term we ended with everyone coming dressed as their favourite Bible character. We had some amazing costumes and it was really hard to choose winners. Great effort on some of our leaders joining in on dressing up!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Thank you to everyone who has packed a shoebox this year! We have managed to send 23 boxes away and it’s been confirmed that they are going to the PHILLIPINES this year, blessing 23 boys and girls between the ages of 2-14. 👏🏻🫶🏻

Last week, AWANA Woodvale finished the term off in great fashion. We ended the night and term with Hot Chocolate, topped with marshmallows for all our clubbers, parents and leaders – a perfect way to warm up on such a cold night.

We also presented three very special awards to three of our clubbers who worked diligently throughout their years at AWANA. This heavy, crystal award is called the Meritorious Award and is awarded to clubbers who have completed 6 handbooks between Year 3 to Year 9. We congratulate them on achieving this prestigious trophy. Two of these clubbers have also decided to become Leaders in Training this year and have received Basic AWANA training to serve and help our little clubbers who are in Pre-Primary to Year 2. We look forward to them growing in their faith and serving in God’s Kingdom.

We will see all our clubbers again on 30 July!
