This weekend - we have a very special guest O-Tongue Hon, OT will be speaking at Genlife Albury and Genlife Holbrook this Sunday and speaking to the Genlife Albury Men, Saturday morning at 8am.
By the age of 21, O-Tung (OT) Hon was running a he**in dealing operation for a drug syndicate in Sydney. That life ended in a prison cell, where he spent four and a half years — and where he met Jesus Christ.
The years since have told a different story. In 2008 OT graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Management), earning a place on the Dean's Merit List, and went on to a successful career in corporate IT sales, including recognition in Optus Enterprise's No. 1 Club in 2018.
But the street kept calling him back — this time with better news. In 2020 OT helped led the Sydney Fire evangelist movement out of Sydney Town Hall, where the team saw more than a thousand people come to faith in a single year. He later helped build the Sydney team for Global Harvest Australia, which saw over 400 baptisms in two years.
Today OT serves as Partnership Manager for Bible Society Australia, working alongside churches across NSW. He is married and a father of two.
Hope you can make it this Sunday - spread the word.
