‘The Sins No One Talks About.’

We often hear about the “big sins” — murder, adultery, sexual immorality — and rightly so. But the Bible also speaks strongly about the sins that are often hidden, tolerated, or excused.

Gossip.
Slander.
Jealousy.
Envy.
Pride.
Bitterness.
Division.

God doesn’t overlook the “respectable sins.”

“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you…” — Ephesians 4:31

“Where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.” — James 3:16

“The Lord detests… a lying tongue… and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.” — Proverbs 6:16–19

“Pride goes before destruction…” — Proverbs 16:18

Romans 1 lists gossip, slander, arrogance, envy, and disobedience alongside many other serious sins (Romans 1:29–32).

Sin is sin because it separates us from God. While some sins carry greater earthly consequences than others, every sin reveals our need for repentance, grace, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

The good news?
Jesus didn’t come only to forgive the obvious sins — He came to cleanse the hidden ones too.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart…” — Psalm 139:23

✨ You Don’t Have to Do It On Your Own ✨

God never leaves us to figure life out on our own.
Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit — our Helper, Counsellor, Teacher and Comforter.

The Holy Spirit leads us, teaches us, guides us, empowers us, counsels us and comforts us. 🕊️

📖 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth…” — John 16:13

Today:
✅ Receive truth that sets you free (John 8:32)
✅ Return to God’s way (Isaiah 55:7)
✅ Repent and turn back to God fully (Acts 3:19)
✅ Remain and abide in His love (John 15:4–5)
✅ Refill daily from His Word and His Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18)
✅ Rest in His promises (Matthew 11:28–30)

You are not alone.
God is with you.
His Spirit is still moving, still speaking, still transforming lives today. 🙌
