🌟 Celebrating One of Our Own, Shiny Joy!

We are overjoyed to share that our beloved church member and Sabha Prathinidhi Mandalam Member (2026 to 2029), Shiny Joy, has been named Nurse of the Year 2026 at John Hunter Hospital!

"She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy." Proverbs 31:20

To be recognised as Nurse of the Year is no small thing. It speaks of countless early mornings, long shifts, difficult moments met with grace, and a quiet faithfulness that rarely seeks the spotlight.
Today, we want you to know… we see you. Your colleagues see you. And we believe God sees every act of kindness you have offered in His name.

Shiny, we are so proud of you. This award is well deserved, and we celebrate you today not just as an outstanding nurse, but as a daughter of God who has made a difference in this world. 🙏❤️

ഓശാന ഞായർ (Palm Sunday):
യേശു രാജാവായി പ്രവേശിച്ചു; ദൈവം തന്റെ ബലിയെ ഒരുക്കി.
(Jesus entered as king; God prepared his sacrifice.)

തിങ്കൾ (Monday):
യേശു ദേവാലയം ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയും അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തെ ശപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; തന്റെ ബലിയെ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നവരെ ദൈവം ഒരുക്കുന്നു.
(Jesus cleanses the temple and curses the fig tree; God prepares those who will accept His sacrifice.)

ചൊവ്വ (Tuesday):
യേശു അവസാനമായി ദേവാലയത്തിൽ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ ബലി ആസ്വദിക്കാനായി ദൈവം ക്ഷണം അയക്കുന്നു.
(Jesus teaches in the temple for the last time; God sends the invitation to come enjoy His sacrifice.)

ബുധൻ (Wednesday):
യൂദാസ് ഒറ്റിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു; മറിയ പരിമളതൈലം പൂശുന്നു; ക്ഷണത്തിനുള്ള മറുപടിക്കായി ദൈവം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
(Judas betrays; Mary perfumes; God waits for the responses to the invitation.)

പെസഹാ വ്യാഴം (Thursday):
അന്ത്യഅത്താഴത്തിൽ യേശു തന്റെ ശരീരവും രക്തവും നൽകുന്നു; ദൈവം തന്റെ ബലി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
(Jesus offers His body and blood in the last supper; God offers His sacrifice.)

ദുഃഖവെള്ളി (Friday):
യേശു കുരിശിൽ മരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവം തന്റെ ബലി സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു. (മനോഹരമായ ഒരു സുഗന്ധം)
(Jesus dies on the cross; God accepts His sacrifice. - A sweet smelling aroma)

ദുഃഖശനി (Saturday):
യേശു പാതാളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വിശുദ്ധരെ പറുദീസയിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു; ദൈവം തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധരെ തന്നിലേക്ക് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.
(Jesus takes the saints from Hades to Paradise; God receives His saints to him.)

ഈസ്റ്റർ ഞായർ (Sunday):
യേശു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു; യേശുവിലൂടെ ദൈവം നമുക്ക് നിത്യജീവൻ നൽകുന്നു. ഏറ്റവും നിർമ്മലമായ നിധി.
(Jesus is risen; God gives us eternal life in Jesus. The purest treasure.)
