Broome- Its Baptism Sunday this week.

Take this as your offical invite to church!

Baptisim is a symbol of being raised to new life in Christ, and leaving behind the old!

New life begins with Jesus. He died so that we might live.
John 10:10 says it’s the thief that comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and life in abundance.

All welcome, it’s not too late to sign up to be baptised.

9:30am start, kids program, sausage sizzle, live gospel music.

See you there 🙏

Living from the word- the Rhema word!

There is no way around this as believers..it’s a foundation aspect of our Christian walk.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4

True faith isn’t mental gymnastics or trying harder to make something happen.

It’s allowing the Word of God to take root in your heart and produce life. 🌱

This doesn’t happen by accident, we have to be determined to allow the word to take root.

Faith doesn’t make God do something.

Faith takes hold of what Jesus has already provided through the Cross.

We’ve already been blessed with every spiritual blessing.
We’ve been seated with Christ.
We’ve been given all things that pertain to life and godliness.

So our job is to learn how to live from what we’ve already been given.

And sometimes that happens progressively. One building block on another.

God told Israel:
“Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.” — Exodus 23:30

In other words It can take time for our hearts and thinking to align with the Word.

DON’T GIVE UP!

Keep planting the Word. Keep dwelling on it. This creates a green house for spiritual growth…the Holy Spirit will quicken truth in your heart to produce God kind of results. 🔥

As we live this way, expect the power of God to show up in your life!

“For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.” — 1 Corinthians 4:20

The Word produces righteousness, peace, joy, freedom, victory and life in us.

Offence can sometimes work this way-
We don’t wait for an understanding, we run with whatever offended us and we get off track.
And the end result of offence is wrong speech... that’s where conflict comes from, speaking out the offence that you haven’t dealt with! 🗣️

The medicine for rotten, stinking thinking, is always the word of God.

That’s why thought management is important.
You can start today- choose to forgive instead of holding hate and unforgiveness.

Jesus be the name!!

There is healing in that name.
There is freedom in that name.
There is salvation in that name.

““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬

Will you accept Him into your life today??

31/08/2026

Jesus taught His followers to walk in forgiveness..even more than He taught them about seeking justice.
And if God has forgiven us, and holds nothing against us, why shouldn’t we be quick to forgive someone who has sinned against us.

Has someone wronged you??

How about praying the same way Jesus did- “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.”- Luke 23:34

“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭44‬-‭46‬
