If the Holy Spirit withdrew His manifest presence from our gatherings, the show would roll on without a pause—the lights would rise, the music swell, the machines keep turning—and we would scarcely notice. That terrifying truth should drive us to our knees in holy fear.

We have mastered branding, systems, podcasts, and charismatic showmanship. Yet the Church of Jesus Christ was never built to run on human energy. Only the Holy Ghost convicts the conscience, raises the dead, heals the broken, transforms the heart, and reveals the glorified Christ.

Everything else, no matter how excellent, is replaceable.

Oh Church—return to the Fire, or perish in your own clever ashes!

When Holy Spirit fell on the 120 in the upper room, it was not a random spectacle. It was the fulfilment of a promise spoken at Sinai, foretold by Joel, preserved in rabbinic tradition, and proclaimed by John the Baptist as the explicit mission of Jesus Himself.

In this message, Glenn Bleakney opens Acts 1 and 2 and walks through the often-overlooked connection between the giving of the Torah at Sinai and the outpouring of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Why was Pentecost being celebrated as the inauguration of God's covenant by the time Jesus walked the earth? What did the rabbis mean when they taught that God's voice at Sinai split into seventy tongues of fire, one for every nation listed in Genesis 10? And why does it matter that the tongues of fire fell again on the 120 in Jerusalem?

This is a teaching for every believer who senses there is more, who refuses to settle for Father, Son, and Holy Bible, and who wants to step into the koinonia, the shared life, of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost Sunday 🔥

There are moments when heaven feels near… and right now at Awake Nations, we are experiencing the Holy Spirit in an extraordinary way.

His presence is moving deeply among us — bringing freedom, healing, conviction, fresh fire, and powerful encounters with Jesus. What we are witnessing is not hype or emotion, but the tangible work of the Spirit awakening hearts and drawing people into deeper surrender and intimacy with God.

We believe this is a season of refreshing, renewal, and holy fire.

Just as the Spirit was poured out in the Upper Room at Pentecost, we are hungry again for a fresh outpouring — for lives marked by His presence, empowered by His power, and transformed by His glory.

If you’ve been weary, hungry for more, or longing to encounter God in a real and life-changing way, come and worship with us.

🔥 We often cry out for revival as though heaven is withholding power from the Church. Yet Jesus never taught His disciples to wait for the Kingdom to arrive one day in the future. He declared, “The Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21).

The tragedy of much of modern Christianity is not a lack of access to God’s power — it is a crisis of identity and belief.

We have reduced revival to an event instead of awakening to a reality.

✨ The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in believers (Romans 8:11). The Church was never commissioned to survive history, but to demonstrate the reign of King Jesus through holiness, authority, love, healing, deliverance, and Gospel proclamation.

Too often we pray:
“God, send revival.”

While heaven responds:
“I sent My Spirit.”

🔥 Pentecost was not merely a moment to remember; it was the inauguration of a Spirit-filled people carrying the life of the age to come into a broken world.

The Kingdom is not distant.
The Kingdom is not dormant.
The Kingdom is not waiting on heaven.

⚡ The Kingdom is within us.

When the Church awakens to this reality, powerless Christianity gives way to bold witness, sacrificial love, supernatural ministry, and deep transformation.

Revival begins when believers stop begging for what Christ already released and begin stewarding what He already imparted.

🙏 The world does not need a more entertained Church.
It needs a Church awakened to the indwelling Christ and the authority of His Kingdom.
